The Vineyard Apartment Homes Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
This is not a complete and accurate account of the events that have taken place at the property the Vineyards of Arlington. I never said that I was unhappy moving into the Vineyards of Arlington during the signing of my lease agreementThe manager "***" is making that assumption due to the fact that apartment complex was at fault from day one when I was promised a second floor apartment, but ended up on the third floor by the time I came to sign my leaseThey at the time meaning, my leasing consultant, *** and ***, discussed possible solutions to ensure that I wanted to become a resident at the complexDrawing on the issue in regards to the towing incident that happened on the 8th of May, "***" states that there were numerous notices given to the residents in regards to the designated areas designed for residents as well as those designed for visitorsI have at least one other witness that can attest to the fact that they had not received any notices other than the one given at the first time that the parking sticker was issued to us, which in my case would be January 31stIt is correct that I opted out of putting said sticker on my vehicle due to the fact that at the time parking stickers were issued that the manager giving out the stickers at the time stated "the back side of the parking lot along the fence away from the building would be visitor's parking." Nothing else was said in regards to future renovations, making a smaller designation of visitors parking, or even that we as a resident have the option of having a reserved parking spaceAt that time I did not have my inspection and registration stickers up to date, so I parked along the back fence, which was told to me as well as another resident, was designated for visitors parkingWhat sense would it make for me to park in a space knowing that my car could be towed because I am parking in the wrong spaceHad a notice been given out as soon as parking renovations had been complete, my car would not have been towed as well as another residents carIt was not until I came into the office on the day of May 8th that the leasing office and management decide that they were going to send a notice after I asked repeatedly to speak with a manager and asked to obtain the corporate office's numberI was not given any satisfaction because no one made the manager aware that a resident requested to speak with him in regards to the matter and to make the situation worse, the corporate office did not bother to return the phone call or even do a follow up with management to my knowledgeIt was NEVER made clear that tenants had months to obtain gate cards and parking stickers and if that is so factually true then when I came into the office to request all notices ever to be placed on any given residents door, management would not have just issued me papers two of which was given at the office and not placed on residents doorsThe notice that was date May 12th did not even get placed on residents door until business days laterAnd even in that notice it does not explicitly state to the fullest extent what residents can and cannot be towed forThis office is doing everything in its power to re frame from having any responsibility for any of the problems present and as a manager, they should be willing to seek redemption from this vulgar behaviorAs far as trash goes, there is nothing in the lease that states that there will be a fine for placing trash out side of my personal doorWhen asked to have notice of the fees for having trash outside of the door, manager *** replied "OK I will", yet it has been almost two weeks and I have yet to receive any notice of a fee scheduleI have personally asked my neighbors about said trash and not one can specifically vouch for the managers assertions and I have voice recording of him stating that he is making the complaint and NOT the residents and that proves that he is willing to lie about any situation in order to divert the attention from the office and managementAt this point it is NOT about a monetary compensation, it is about morals and principals which this complex does not have
Regards,
*** ***

At move in the resident was told by the leasing agent that her apartment was on the 3rd floor instead of the 2nd floor. Myself "[redacted]" manager of property informed her that she did not have to move into the apartment because it was not the apartment that she had been promised. She...

proceeded to go ahead and move into apartment knowing that she was not going to be happy. So unfortunately she has never been happy living here at the Vineyard at Arlington.
Resident was given a sticker at the time of move in. The resident did not put her sticker on her car because her tags were expired and she did not want to get her car towed because of her expired stickers. We have parking allocated in designated areas that clearly are marked visitor parking on the ground. I am very sorry that she parked in a resident parking and not visitor parking. Keep in mind that she has a parking sticker but she does not want to put sticker on her car because her inspection stickers are expired. Also we have sent a number of reminders to each resident informing them that we would be closing the gates for their protection. All residents were given notices to inform them that they had 3 months to come in and get gate cards and stickers for all cars. Cars would be towed at the owners expense. We have 396 units here at the Vineyards and she is the only resident that did not get her notices on her door.
Another issue that the resident spoke about yesterday in my office that she did not appreciate the Vineyards calling her and informing her that she could not leave her trash on her balcony. I informed her that trash must be taken to the dumpster or we will send her a lease violation. All her neighbors are complaining about the smell of the trash.
At this time there is no refund to this resident for her car being towed.
Thank you,
