Before we received the car, customer called and this is what was written on the work order. "Oil light on. Engine is noisy. Customer added 2 qts of oil- no help"
The repair reads:
"Charged battery"
"removed excess oil from engine. Started engine. Engine clattery...

revealing no oil pressure"
"Removed and replaced oil pick up screen."
"Cleaned oil pan. Customer declined upper engine cleaning."
Parts listed on repair order.
Oil pick up screen
1 QT. [redacted] syn. oil
1/2 can [redacted] cleaner
Sealant
Technician removed at least 5 qts of excess oil from engine.
Repairs were made which required draining all oil from engine.
Refilled engine with customer supplied oil he found in her trunk.
It required one more quart than what she supplied.
She was charged for that one quart of oil.
When she came to pick up her car and saw a charge for oil, she got very irate over the fact we charged her for a quart of oil. Just a short time after she left she called to apologize for the way she reacted and asked if she was still welcome to have us work on her car. [redacted] the office manager said that would be just fine. There was a message on the answering machine the next day about her car but I couldn't quite understand it, I figured she would be giving us a call back. It's been over eighty days and have not heard from her at all. If she had had any kind of problem with the repair we did if she had contacted us we would have addressed any concern she may have had.
She said the sup-mount bolts were loose. It would take no more than twenty minutes to tighten them. If she can show she paid to have them retightened I will reimburse for her twenty minutes labor time.
Other complaints:
Car locks her out with keys in the ignition.
Us removing a engine oil pan can not cause that.
Brakes seem looser like they need adjusting.
I did not work on the brake system or remove any wheels or touch any part of the braking system.
And yes after she called [redacted] (office manager) a liar and [redacted] the technician a liar and a redneck she was asked to leave or we may have to call the police which is our policy if situation seems to be getting out of hand.
Customer says her engine takes 3.1 qts of oil when in fact it takes 4.6 qts (says the ** repair manual) and about 4.1 quarts if you don't change the filter.

Review: I had my [redacted] towed by the same business Volks Home for repairs. The problem I was having is that my oil had turned into sludge so I didn't want to drive it. I provided 5 quart jug of full synthetic [redacted] oil and a oil filter I also had a extra quart in my trunk for the complete oil change. They charged me for oil! My car calls for 3.11 quarts of oil and I provided 6 and was charged . My car sounds as if it is gonna blow up when I start it, the whole frontend shakes even when driven. I have not had any problems with my car since I had it I keep regular upkeep and maintenance on my car, I have used my mechanic [redacted] owner of [redacted] on [redacted] but he was on vacation and could not get to my car I was recommended to this shop by another [redacted] owner. I have never had an experience like this in all my life and I feel I was treated so unfairly and I am afraid of my car now because it does things that it did not do before such as lock me out with keys in ignition, brakes seem looser as if they need adjusting . I have spoke to this establishment about my gripe but they act as if they don't know what I'm talking about just like with my oil!!! When [redacted] returned from vacation I took my car to him that's when I learned that my sub Mount bolts had not been tightened he loosened them by hand that holds the engine in the car that was why my car shook. My friend and I were put off the property with threats of calling the police I was given the wrong keys to my car. I called back to apologize because they took me out of character in public with their actions towards me and they had did me wrong and was not owning up to none of it!!!!Desired Settlement: I want them to pay to fix my car as it was when I brought it to them. I want them to agree to let [redacted] of [redacted] to repair my car so I feel safe again.
