I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me andl consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted] ***

I am responding to the complaint [redacted] .I have spoken with the customer and we have resolved the issueBased on additional information obtained from the customer the lease agreement will end on 12-31-2014.Thanks***

We respectfully request the contract be null and void based on the fact that the contract we signed back in April/May was initially broken by The Vue by allowing a girl to move in prior to the initial girls agreeing to the 3rd girl moving in. We have been told by the manager,
***, that they know they messed up by allowing *** to move in BEFORE *** and *** agreeing to her moving in. But her excuse has always been that the previous manager allowed it to happen. *** had moved in even before the fall semester began! Even after admitting their mistake, they refuse to release us from the contract when they broke it first. In addition, we have tried to speak to the owner of The Vue to discuss this situation, however the manager, *** has lied and told us the owner lives in *** and can not discuss this matter. We recently found out the owner lives in *** *** not somewhere in ***. All we ask is to be released from the contract starting in January 2015. We are not seeking or requesting anything else. Thank You*** ***

Review: I am complaining of the breach of contract, and discriminating practices of the manager/owner of The Vue Cornerstone. We have tried numerous times to get [redacted], the manager, to speak to the owner and discuss the issues of bullying and discrimination our daughter was subjected to when she lived there from her 2 roomates. According to The Vue contract, all 3 roomates must agree with each other and sign a leasing agreement stating they know each other and agree to live together. In May 2014, all 3 girls agreed to move and live together, however later one girl, [redacted] decided she was not going to go back to [redacted] leaving a room empty. The remaining girls, [redacted] and [redacted] were trying to find someone to take the room. Then they were notified that someone they didn't know or "approve" had signed the agreement and had already moved in without [redacted] and [redacted] agreeing to this person. That is a breach of contract because neither [redacted] nor [redacted] agreed to this girl moving in. Once she was in, the harassment began, consisting of loud music played while [redacted] was trying to sleep; yelling and loud intentional laughing; stealing food intended for the homeless shelter and numerous other forms of harassment. The harassment was so severe that [redacted] was forced to move out with the responsibility of finding a person to sublet the room. However this has also been hindered based on the remaining girls, [redacted] and [redacted], needing to "approve" on the girl replacing [redacted]. We are filing a complaint based on The Vue breaking the contract initially by allowing a non "approved" person in. And now, even after breaking the contract, The Vue is stating that the remaining girls ([redacted] and [redacted]) must agree to the new girl moving in.We have learned that several "interviews" of potential roomates the girls have not "approved" any of them due to the fact they are not "white" but African American or other nationallity and The Vue has not disagreed with the practice.Desired Settlement: All we request is to be released of any remaining liability for subletting the room. It is evident that the remaining girls are very prejudiced based on their treatment and abuse of [redacted] and the fact that they are intent on not allowing any other girl in the room who is not of their color or nationality. In addition, The Vue is allowing this behavior by allowing and condoning the discrimination of [redacted] any another potential girl.I can discuss further at your convenience.
