I took my 2019 Ram 1500 there to be cleaned and the gouged the hood paint.
On 24 nov 2019 I took my 2019 Ram pick up there for a wash. The hood wasn't damaged prior to the wash but exited with gouge. After 3 face to face meetings with the manager, general manager and the owners I was told they were not going to repair the damaged hood. I went to the ***, they're members, and filed a complaint. The *** states the business won't respond to the complaint.
I want my hood restored to the factory finish by a auto body shop of my choosing.

Only two things came in contact with the hood of the Ram 1500, water and a Neoglidetop brush. Water obviously can't "gouge" a hood and Neoglide*( similar to the material used in wetsuits) is incapable of gouging. Video footage of the Ram going through the tunnel was reviewed independently by the manager, district manager, and two of the carwash owners. Everything in the wash was operating as designed during the Ram's wash. Over 100 vehicles were washed that day and none of those vehicles including those immediately before and after the Ram reported any damages.
At the time of the initial complaint, the owner, who had driven the Ram to New York State on a hunting trip and "had not washed it since before he left" and "needed to wash the deer blood out of it" acknowledged that some of the other damage on the hood was pre-existing, already there. He blamed one specific "gouge" on our carwash.
If a claim is legitimate, we don't hesitate to cover the necessary repairs. In this case, however, we have no doubt or reservations about our decision to deny the claims of the owner of the Ram1500.
