Fraudulent practices. I found an item (Smith Unisex Universal Wireless Black Helmet Audio Chips Walkie-Talkie Tech - H16-WCAUD) from watchco.com, listed on their website, and questioned the authenticity of both the product and the business, due to erroneous language on the site, varying from describing the wrong manufacturer of the product, to describing sunglasses rather than the audio kit, to a second description of another product for sale that used identical language and visuals, but put the price at more than three times the amount of the one I was contemplating ordering. As a preemptive move, I called watchco.com, on their 800 line (800.584.1618), 13 times without ever receiving an answer. I left messages for them on that line, which claimed that they would return my call in one business day. No such return call was ever made. I also sent two emails, via a submission form on their website. I heard nothing back from this retailer until after I placed an order, at which time I questioned them, yet again, on the confusing descriptions of their two identical products and their radically different price points ($40 vs $130). I also provided screen shots of the two listings. I was told that one was wired and the other was wireless, despite the fact that both products were listed as "Wireless" and both products used identical visuals and copy to describe them. I was then contacted by two representatives of the company who vacillated on answering my questions about the erroneous descriptions of their products and the fact that they refused to honor the price they listed on their own website for a product that was described as "Wireless." Instead of honoring the fact that they listed a product at a certain, very specific price point, they told me they could not sell it for that amount and would be refunding my money. They also said that the manufacturer of the product would not allow them to sell the product at the price they had listed it for, yet one full week after beginning this back-and-forth with them, the item is still listed on their website with the erroneous language and price.
This is a retailer who listed a wireless product at a very specific price point and then refused to sell it at that price once it had been paid for. Customer Service was evasive and uncooperative. My initial reaction to the discrepancies on the company's website—including their listed price—caused me to question this retailer's legitimacy. Unfortunately, my experiences with them confirmed my opinion that they engage in deceptive practices and do not honor the information they list on their online retail site. I have the two screen shots mentioned earlier, as well as the evasive emails from The Watch Company, and a visual history on my cell phone of 13 calls placed to this vendor, if the Wisconsin Revdex.com would like to see them.

Unfortunately our authorized dealer contract with the supplier prevents us from selling the product below a certain price point. The team that created the listing on our web site made a mistake. A mistake we corrected immediately. While we don't have a record of this person calling or emailing us, we did reach out to them at the email address provided to us by the Revdex.com. However, we did not receive a response. We are proud to be an authorized dealer of every brand we carry and are always happy to provide proof as such.

On 18 DEC 2016, I purchased a watch through watchco.com. Watchco.com advertises 365 day hassle-free returns. In May 2017, I contacted them to organize a return of the unwanted and unused watch. On 12 JUN 2017, they finally provided return instructions. I paid $10.12 to return the item. UPS confirms the watch was delivered on 15 JUN 2017, using the RMA number provided by watchco.com, which was the same as my order number. "EJ" confirmed receipt at reception. In mid-OCT 2017, I attempted contacting watchco.com by phone and left a message. As of 13 NOV 2017, I still have not received a refund or response from watchco.com.

We submitted this refund in full to the buyer's credit card company for refund. However, the buyer's credit card company rejected the refund because the transaction was too old to refund. We still want to refund this to the buyer, but the buyer has not replied to us from either the email or voice mail we sent them requesting a PayPal address or address we can mail the check. We contacted them again on November 13th with no response. I'm not sure what more we can do here unless the buyer answers us.

After reviewing the business response, I contacted my credit card company to verify if Watchco.com's statement was true. My credit card company representative told me that this was wholly untrue and one of the silliest things they have heard. The credit card company will accept refunds at any time and for any reason. The credit card company then offered to assist me in pursuing the refund from WatchCo.com since the credit card company will allow me to contest the purchase.

Further, no contact was received on or around November 13th as the business response alleges. No email was received. If a phone call was made, no message was left.

The business response is wholly unacceptable and proves one of two things about the business: Either they are either misrepresenting facts or are not competent at processing refunds and handling customer service.

My contact details remain the same as they were at the time of purchase. If they want to contact me, they have what they need.

WatchCo.com has my home address. It is the same as the original purchase order. Please send me a check. I am not contacting WatchCo.com directly anymore. I was never responded to, which is why I am going through the Revdex.com now.

If WatchCo is telling the truth, why didn't they leave me a message when they claimed to have contacted me on Nov. 13? Call me again and leave a message of how to call back if you are serious about refunding me and honestly don't already have my address!

Since the buyer has stated he is refusing to contact us, we are forced to message the buyer through Revdex.com messaging.

We again emailed the buyer and called them prior to this last message and were not able to get a hold of anyone, nor did we get a response. We have submitted the email documentation to Revdex.com for proof and review.

Since the buyer has now confirmed that the original shipping address from last year is still correct, we have sent out the refund check and consider this matter closed.
