I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI was very pleased with the companies response and it does appear that their were communication issuesPlease update my report to show that *** *** handled my situation professionally and exceeded my expectations

Hi ***, it is our standard process for restoration projects
to quote pricing to home owners' insurance companies, not the home owners
themselves. Nevertheless, we are happy to review the price quote we
provided your insurance company with you individually and have set up an
appointment
with you to do that. We look forward to clarifying any
misunderstanding that has occurred

Mr. Bell I will respond to your issues in red below.
I am rejecting this response because: 
They did not respond to the issues in the complaint, that they misrepresented the charges. We will respond to you your claim of misrepresentation when we meet together.  We believe there needs to be clarification on both side.
They are expecting me to pay, not the insurance company. If they want to negotiate with the insurance company they should send them a bill and not me. This needs to be clarified as well when we meet but in principle if a claim exceeds the limits of a policy the policy holder is responsible for the balance.
In discussion with the company representatives I was told that the cost would be kept below 3000 including 1000 I paid to them already. They did not honor their promise. This should be easy to resolve.  we will go over all of the paperwork which will state what was agreed to. 
There are errors on the bill, but that is not the only problem. They were told to keep the costs below a certain level, which they agreed to on several occasions. Again the paperwork will state what was agreed to.  Any suspected errors will be looked at individually and resolved.
My family and I did much of the work to keep the costs down, at their direction. They are actually charging me for my own labor.  We will not charge for any work that you have done that we did not do.  The contract will specify what we agreed to do.
