I am rating Fairmont neutral but only because the layout of the home and the cost were positive for us.But there is a big negative we wish to make public to others, because they need to be careful in inspecting the factory work in areas of electric outlet and HVAC vents before handing over the last of the paymentsThe quality control in these areas are severely lackingThese problems SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT BEFORE SHIPMENT
Most of the light / fan switches were not put in according to standard specs...the fan switches were put closest to the door and the light switches next (in bathrooms and where we have ceiling fans)More importantly, the HVAC system in the attic was not completed for one wing of the house (we found the parts up in the attic) and no air vents were put in the walls / ceiling in that same wingThat wing had no air flow! We fixed this ourselvesThe worst part is Fairmont never responded to a letter we sentThe workers need training and quality control!
