My wife and I have been clients of Doug and the Wealth Guardians since August, 2013. I was offered a lump sum of money from where I had previously worked and I was 63 and facing retirement. Like a great many people, we had put off actually talking about retirement because frankly, I didn't want to hear how bad we had planned. I first talked with an adviser from the 401k specialists that handle the retirement for the company I work for. When my wife and I left that meeting, she was in tears. Based on his analysis I would have to work until I was 70 and then he told us we would still be woefully short.
Then we talked with Doug R**. During his presentation he showed us our expenses, how he would invest out money and explained why he would do the investments. He showed and explained how the combination of the annuities, my 401k investments, our cash and other assets would work together to provide not only an adequate retirement, but a very nice one indeed. Needless to say when we left Doug's office, we went out to dinner and celebrated.
I will retire at the end of July, 2016 and have no worries about the future. And the peace of mind is all thanks to the good Lord and Doug R**.
