I am appalled at the disrespect and embarrassment I suffered today at the hands of the unporfessional employeesI arrived to the salon at 8:am because I wanted to get in the chair firstWhen it opened at am I explained that I wanted to buy bundles and either a lace or frontal closure because I am all naturalThe manager said there is only one stylist who is the master stylist that does lace closures so I had to wait for herShe encouraged me to buy three bundles for $while I waitedThe master stylist arrived late to work at about 9:amI wanted to see pictures of her work before I made my decision due to a hair disaster I experienced before from another shop She said she had some but after waiting about an hour it turned out she didn't have anySo I waited for her to do another customers lace closure before I made my decisionWhen that customer was almost done I said ok I'll go with the lace closureI spent another $The time is now 12:pmI'd waited patiently for hoursThe manager said to sit down to get my hair braidedOne girl started parting my hair but then asked another girl was her part goodThe girl that she asked came over to help and then said I have to get my hair washedI told her I didn't need it washed it was recently washed and I use specific products that you guys don't haveShe told me my hair was dirty and I had dandruffI said I've suffered from dandruff since I was a young girlIt had nothing to do with my hair being dirtyThen she says oh it feels oily tooAs a natural I have to keep my hair very moisturized to prevent breakage so even after washing my hair still feels moisturizedThen she goes and gets the manager and the manager tells me I have to get my hair washed because it's dirtyShe didn't even bother taking a look just went off of what one girl saidSo I said I'm not getting my hair washed because one I just washed it myself and two you don't have good products to support natural hairSo she said they wouldn't be able to do my hair and I said fine and leftI'm very embarrassed and I'm disgusted with the level of customer service I received They really repeatedly told me my hair was dirty in front of everyone which it isn't dirty at allI sat for hours and no one said my hair was dirtyI tried dandruff treatments for years and used to be teased about it in high schoolI never thought I would have to relive that embarrassment at the hands of so-called hair professionalsIt turns out the stylists there are not even licensed so how dare they talk about someone's natural hairThe staff obviously does not care about or know anything about black hair care They charge to wash your hair at this salon so I'm convinced they were trying to get even more money out of me
