Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am rejecting the wedding bells response because they are failing to resolve the issueThey are reiterating what I already said and making no attempt to resolve anythingI specifically asked them to PROVE that they ordered the lace before I called them to cancel it and they are unable to provide that information however they are adamant that this took placeI understand that I signed a contract however as I said in my complaint they rushed my order and didn't explain anything just put papers in front of meAfter I left and had a moment to think I called within an hour or two of leaving the store and said I changed my mind about the laceIn addition their comparison of buying a dress is like buying a house is not only ludicrous but not correctWhen buying a house, by law the consumer has hours to change their mind even after signing the documentsTherefore if her defense is that it's like buying a house then I deserve a full refundSincerely, [redacted]

***). I find it extremely hard to believe that they do not remember us My bridesmaid called them in tears the day the zipper popped. They told her it wasn't their fault, there was nothing they could do, and then hung up on herThey never even apologized or at least expressed sympathy She attempted to call them back multiple times but they just kept hanging up on her None of my other bridesmaids had issues with their dressesShe was the only one who had her dress altered at this location They over charged her and then ruined the zipper They way they brought in the dress, it ruined the way the zipper lined up. When she had her final fitting she told me the attendants had trouble zipping up the dress, but they told her that it was and gave her zipper wax and said it would help This was her first time ever having an item altered and her first wedding She trusted this establishment and it's staff and believed that this was suppose to be normal When she told me this after the zipper popped I was in shock I have had many bridesmaids dresses altered in the past and have never had anything like this happen, and there was no reason for the zipper to not zip up correctly. Like I said before, my MOH had to hand sew the dress on her right before the wedding They both missed pre-wedding photosThe dress then had to be cut off after the wedding Over $down the drain. As explained to Ms***, she had ample opportunity to review the contract before signingIt is clearly labeled "all sales final" on her CC slip and contractShe absolutely was not tricked into placing money downIn fact, she was under no obligation to do so, and she could have certainly left
my store without doing soShe not only input her PIN to authorize the charge, she signed off on the invoiceAt any time prior to signature, she could have said she didn't want to do itBut, once signed, no refunds are given

The dress was properly tagged with the correct style number, and the client signed off that the order details were correct Again, I believe this was an honest mistake on the part of both the employee and the client, therefore, we are getting the correct dress as quickly as possible My alterations department will be able to alter the dress in time for the wedding with no problem I have relayed this information to Ms***, and, at no time was she told it would be a couple weeks The correct shipping date was relayed as soon as the issue was noticed

When the dress was ordered I confirmed with the salesperson that I wanted the black dress I had tried on in Ivory. I was not given a catalog or computer screen with The Wedding Bell's product numbers on it to verify he was typing in the correct number. I verified the color and size and was never shown an item number from the dress. I agree it was an honest mistake on the part of the salesperson (so I should NOT be told to keep the wrong dress). The dress might arrive in time for the wedding, but not in time to have alterations completed. This is why I told the business that if the dress would take several weeks (and it will take 6-7 weeks), I did not want it reordered and simply wanted my money back. This was an error on the part of the business as I did verify the correct dress (not the item number since I have no knowledge of their stores product numbers and was not shown item numbers to verify). Our sales contracts clearly state All Sales Final in several places.  We do not refund anything.  Also, we do not pressure people to buy stuff.  We assist them with finding a dress they like, go over all of the options which are clearly outlined on the contract.  We do not force...

them to sign this contract.  This is just like buying a house.  If you sign the paperwork, it is yours.  I am sorry that you changed your mind, but we strictly adhere to our contracts.

I do not have a record of this at all. What is the name of the customer it was bought under? We most certainly do not just hang up on customers.

As I stated to [redacted], she is responsible for verifying the order. This is clearly outlined on the contract that she signed.  I think it was an honest mistake, so rather than tell her she had to keep the wrong dress, I ordered the replacement for her, and she was told it would be here in...

June.  It will arrive in time for her wedding, and we are tracking it very closely.
