To whom it may concern, Our intention is not to go back and forth with Ms [redacted] regarding our policies that are clearly stated on our websiteWe will not revise our entire company structure and policies for Ms [redacted] as she attempts to slander our name on multiple websitesWe wish Ms [redacted] all the best Thank You, [redacted]

To whom it may concern,
We inform all
clients that all of our ceremonies are fully customizable and we always let every couple know that they can also add and take away any wording from any of our ceremonies, which means that once Ms*** got our ceremonies on February 25th , she could have either included the mention of God to any of the ceremonies or could have requested more ceremonies from us
As per the previous conversation with Ms ***, she stated that she was unaware of our policies, however all of our policies including our no refund policy are listed on our website in several different places. We have our policies listed on our FAQ page as well as our Custom Services/Deposits page. We also have a link to view our contract listed on our Wedding Packages page. Also listed on our FAQ page, we state that you will receive a contract after booking your date. It is the responsibility of each client to read those policies prior to booking, afterall, the information is there for them so that there is no mistake or ambiguity. If there was an issue with anything that we sent to Ms *** in regards to our contract or our completed ceremonies we would have expected her to contact us prior to March 10, 2014. We sent her our ceremonies that are reserved exclusively for our booking clients on February 25, 2014. We sent her a contract on February 27, She emailed us on March 1, that she received the contractHowever, after having our contract and exclusive ceremonies, she did not respond until March 10, which is more than one week and a half after her confirmation that she received all documents, which legally binds her to the terms of the contract. As I stated before, and in addition to our no refund policy being listed/stated several times on our website, we clearly state that we do not offer refunds because once a ceremony/wedding date is added to our calendar as a result of a client booking, we turn everyone else away for that date and time and within two hours of the ceremony time so that all energy is focused on that client which equates to several hundreds of dollars of company revenue being lostMs *** simply wants The-WeddingOfficiant to change all company policies that have been in place for more than years, because she decided weeks after booking that she wanted another officiate.I also did not mention that after I spoke to Ms *** several times over the phone as well as email regarding our policies, that Ms *** tried to circumvent the policies set forth by The-WeddingOfficiant by going directly to PaypalShe filed a claim requesting a full refund (not the partial that she is stating on her complaint with Revdex.com) and PayPal deducted the full refund amount from the account of The- Wedding OfficiantHowever, once they reviewed the claim they reversed the refund and deposited the full amount back into the company account, stating that they can not issue a refund after reviewing the details of the claimMs*** has clearly informed me that her goal is to get a refund, despite our policies, and to tarnish our company name
Thank You,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mrs. [redacted] continues to quote policies from her website, I found them on [redacted], their policies are not listed on yelp. My communication was done completely by phone and I did not have be visit the website, Mr. [redacted] provided the paypal address via phone and originally gave me the wrong paypal account which required me to cancel the original payment and reissue.

All the information she is quoting is irrelevant. I would still be willing to accept a partial refund but with their unwillingness to compromise that will soon change.

Regards,
[redacted]

To whom it may concern,

Our intention is not to go back and forth with Ms. [redacted] regarding our policies that are clearly stated on our website. We will not revise our entire company structure and policies for Ms. [redacted] as she attempts to slander our name on multiple websites. We wish Ms. [redacted] all the best.

Review: I found this business on [redacted] when I was looking for an officiant for my wedding. I phoned Mr. [redacted] to obtain information on the process. When I spoke with Mr. [redacted] his description of services sounded like what I was looking for, there was no mention of any contract during the discussions. He called me a couple of times on the same evening to try to secure my business even offered a small discount if I agreed to pay for the service in full so I paid for the services upfront a total of $240.35. A few of days later a contact was emailed to an incorrect email address, (I provided a gmail address) that I had no knowledge was being sent, there was a 4 day span between when payment was accepted and when the contract was located. When my fiance and I finally looked at the ceremony templates that were emailed by Mr. [redacted], my fiance and I agreed it was not right for us. We sent an email on March 10 informing Mr. [redacted] and office manager (aka Mrs. [redacted]) that we were not going to move forward with Mr. [redacted] as an officiant and requested a refund. Mrs. [redacted] informed me that they have a no refund policy per their contact. I advised Mrs. [redacted] that I never signed a contract and in fact the contract was emailed after payment was accepted. Mrs. [redacted] informed that it was in their regular business practice to collect money first and send contract out after. I informed her that I never agreed to their contract terms and in fact never signed a contract. She proceeded to say I am bound by their contact and would not be getting any kind of refund. I have the original email from Mr. [redacted] when he sent over the ceremony template and there is no mention of any kind of contract.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund of $240.35 however I would be willing to accept $170.00, this is only as a courtesy. Furthermore since I never signed any contract Mrs. [redacted] needs to understand that I am not bound by the terms.
