The Wedding Plaza Reviews (13)

Review: Booked our photography and video package at the wedding plaza at [redacted]. Now that our wedding is 3 months away we have been trying to contact photographer and they keep giving us lies and stories, some even said the photographer has moved and do not have new address or phone numbers for Ariana Studios. After I finally got in contact with Jeff, they keep lying and yessing me to death to get me off the phone and then not getting back in touch with me. They are a fraudulent company and they took my money and will not render services or meet with me as I have been actively requesting. I need my money back to hire another photographer as Ariana Studios wont even get back to me on the phone, so I cant guarantee they will show up at my wedding and render the services I have paid for. I want my money back in full as this is a breach of contract.Desired Settlement: I want a full $800 refund of my deposit from Ariana Studios.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: My wife and I utilized the Wedding Plaza for the photography and music for my wedding on February **, 2012.

Over the summer of 2012 we approved the online layouts for our wedding album and reviewed the printed copy several months later due to delays in production. Final approval for the printed album was given given in February of 2013; the approval was necessary for the production of the replica album for our parents.

Since February, there has been no movement on the delivery of the outstanding albums (2 replica parent albums), the release of the album we approved for reproduction, the delivery of selected enlarged photos and the pass around engagement book that was promised for our wedding but never delivered. A final payment of $100 or 2.7% of the contract is outstanding; per the contract this is to be paid when the albums and all outstanding items have been delivered, which they haven't been.Desired Settlement: We believe the Wedding Plaza owes us the following:

1. One (1) 10x10 Design-type main wedding album

2. Two (2) 8x10 replica albums (the parent albums)

3. One (1) engagement photos pass around book

4. One (1) 11x14 Enlarged Wedding Photo

5. Two (2) 8x10 Enlarged Wedding Photos

6. One (1) 8x10 Enlarged Engagement Photo

We will go to the Wedding Plaza, review the items delineated above and make the final $100 payment on the $4,400 contract once the promised items are delivered.

Review: Ariana Studios has failed to honor the "Photography and Video Contract" we made with them prior to our wedding. Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First and foremost, album was never sent for review on 4/**/13 and no call was ever made. Neither my wife or myself have ever received anything regarding album approval.

I do have several email correspondence that we sent multiple times with no response and I could provide that were never answered or replied.

Second, I approved the pictures to the recently received link for the album design. Again, I have no clue whether I approved the Bridal Album or the 2 parent albums. And no word either about the 11x14 picture or the (2) 8x10 pictures.

Please, we need a better understanding of what album we approved and when to expect the other albums and pictures as well. The link provided really is an unsatisfactory way to deal with and approve bridal albums. There are no clear directions or indication as to what you are approving on the link.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Review: On June * 2014 I used [redacted] for my wedding photos. I paid for the services in full and have not yet received my albums or my framed pictures. I have been trying to resolve this issue for months now and I have been given the run around. It is one story after another. Most times I do not even get a response. My husband and I were told that the pictures were ready and would be delivered in April. Now they are saying that the production co has them and they are the hold up. I called the production co they will not speak with me unless [redacted] gives them permission. When my husband spoke to the [redacted] he told him that [redacted] from the production co would call us, of course he never did. They are not even returning phone calls at this point. We have been calling and calling and even went in person. In addition they lost our flash drive which contained pictures that were supposed to be shown the wedding. Tomorrow is our one year anniversary with no pictures. In addition I am 8 months pregnant and this has caused me and my family stress and aggravation. We have already placed a complaint with the Attorney General and still [redacted] is not cooperating. I feel as if they stole our money, Please advise, thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like my pictures all of them and I would also like financial consideration for all the stress and the time spent perusing this issue.

Review: My wedding date was 7/**/2010. I signed a contract with [redacted] ( [redacted]) in 2010 and Paid in full over $3000 to [redacted] to provide my wedding album and wedding video and have not received neither product. I was told my [redacted] and received an email from [redacted] stating I would receive my wedding album in 2013 and have not received it. I also was told by [redacted] that my wedding video was with editors for completion and have not received the finished product as of yet. I have spoken to [redacted] several times as well as pat [redacted] and [redacted] regarding the completion of my wedding album and video for the past 3 yrs and still I have not received the finished product . I have several communicative emails between myself and [redacted] ( staff)'confirming that I would receive the finished product.Desired Settlement: I would like my wedding album and wedding video completed my a professional album and video company delivered to me according to my contract terms as soon as possible . Otherwise I would like a full refund along with my proofs and video and my folder of family photos that was given to [redacted] for my video.

Review: My husband and I contracted the Wedding Plaza for all our photography needs for our wedding day. We signed a contract with the Wedding Plaza to supply a wedding video, parent albums and wedding album. We paid for their services in full when we pick up our wedding video, which was within the first month of our wedding day. My wedding date was June **, 2012, over three years ago. I have recently received my parents albums but we are yet to receive our wedding album. We have not received anything from their design department for our review and approval since April of 2014, over an year ago. I have been talking with Pat ( telephone and email) in their photography department but I have not been able to resolve the problem with Pat. For almost a year (since October 2014) I have been talking and emailing Pat for an update on our wedding album. She is always very nice and always answers that she will get back to me the following day but she never does. I continue to call and/or email and I continue to get the same run around. She continues to respond that she will get with the design department and call me right back but she never doesDesired Settlement: We would like to receive our wedding album with the design that we approve by the end of September 2015 (3 months)

The company has contacted me to go over the issues (once again) that were causing the delay of my wedding album. We had gone over these issues several times before, I still do not understand why these same issues do not get resolved. I was told by Pat that the resolved issues were sent to the design department. I am now still awaiting for a design of my wedding album from the Wedding Plaza design department for my approval. In conclusion, no progress has been accomplished since I initially opened this complaint with Revdex.com on July **, 2015.

Review: Hello - I have had services with the Wedding Plaza since Dec 2012 for my wedding photography and videography. I paid in full prior to my wedding in Dec 2013. The cost of the services were roughly $3600 ($3300 for pics, $300 for additional photographer).

I booked 2 photographers and 1 videographer for the following services:

1. Wedding videos, including raw copies

2. Two parent albums

3. A Main Bridal Album

4. A brag book

5. Photo Prints

5. thank you cards

I submitted all of my requests for the wedding video since Jan 2014, being told that it would take 6 months to complete. It is now August 2015, one year and 6 months later, with no video. I have been given the run around that the video is being worked on, it is ready, then, once again that it is being worked on. This has been the situation since the summer of 2014.

For my parent albums, I submitted all pictures and changes on time, and still have nothing to show for it. This is the same for my bridal album. Every time I submit changes, it takes 2-4 months to see any revisions. At times, the revisions get sent back without the changes requested. The edits are sloppy and you can tell there is a lack of effort and quality being taken when completing the client’s albums. The frustration of chasing and following up on timelines and spending hours revoking at pictures when I previously submitted edits and they were ignored or incorrectly applied, it is beyond unacceptable at this point.

The parent albums were promised to be ready in 2014 so I can give them as Mother’s Day/Father’s Day gifts. I was told they should be ready before those dates (i.e. Spring 2014) – I gave my parents and in-laws no gifts for the 2014 occasions and over 1 year later, they still haven’t received their gifts.

For my brag book, this is a mini-album that was supposed to be a book the bride can show around 6 months later from the wedding to her friends and family. What is the purpose of this album now? After 2 years, what is there to brag about and show people?

Of the 2 photographers, 1 photographer was atrocious and should not be considered a professional photographer. The prints were blurry and out of focus. I could have taken better pictures on my cell phone. I raised this as an issue immediately and even the staff at Arianna agreed the pictures were not up to par. I paid additional for his services and I did not receive anything of quality or professional portraits from his work. Why did I pay for this service? Over 80% of pics are unusable with terrible quality.

I have continuously requested updates and chased every other week via email, phone and text with the same excuses: “we are working on it,” “let me call you back,” “I promise it will come to you soon.”

For the most important day of my life and the most beautiful day as a young woman, I have nothing to show for it but physical print-outs. I have no video of my wedding ceremony or reception, no albums to keep as a memento. Nothing at all!

With the time, frustration, embarrassment of people coming over to ask about seeing my album and saying I have still not received them, I am requesting a refund for the services not delivered.

I paid in full for great quality shots and products. With no products to show for my expenses and shots from 1 one of photographers that are completely disgraceful, I am fully dissatisfied with the services received (or rather not rendered) from Arianna Studios.

I would like the owner to stop providing fabricated updates to me and give me a refund so I can move on with my life and alleviate the stress, anxiety and frustrations this has caused to myself and family. In 4 months, it will be 2 years since I got married, with no bridal videos or albums. What did I pay for over 3 years ago when I made my first deposit in 2012? How many hours have I looked at revisions and called and chased this company for my services? I continue to make revisions where changes are not even being made. I call every week, email at least 2x a month, with no real updates.

I would like to have a refund for the services not yet received to remediate this issue. I cannot continue to chase people for products I have paid.

Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a refund for the services not yet received/delivered to remediate this issue. I cannot continue to chase people for products I have paid for as this is beyond stressful and frustrating.

I would like a refund for the below services:

1. Wedding videos, including raw copies

2. Two parent albums

3. A Main Bridal Album

4. A brag book

5. partial refund for the pictures taken by 2nd photography

-[redacted]

Review: On 3/*/2013 we hired [redacted] from the Wedding Plaza to document our wedding which included video and photography. We were married on Sept. **, 2014. We were promised a delivery time of 6-8 months for our wedding product. Through countless phone calls and e-mails, to which went non-responded or empty promised, perusing the staff of the Wedding Plaza, and only after an e-mail to file a claim with our credit card companies, did we finally received our wedding product. Our contract, which was breached, states we are to receive our bridal album, (3) 5x7 parent albums, (1) 11x14, (4) 8x10, 100 Thank You Cards, CD disk of all photos taken in HIgh Resolution, Full video including (4) edited DVD versions plus the entire raw footage for the sum of $3796.00. $200 withheld until after did pick up, $100 withheld until after video pickup and $200 withheld final balance.

First we were charged entire remaining balances in full on 8/*/2014. Excluding our wedding album and Thank you cards, the value of the products we received which were either damaged, incomplete, or missing are not worth the price we were charged nor do they resemble anything described to us in our initial meeting on the day we signed the contract. Our parent albums resemble a sophomoric attempt of a glue and paste last minute scramble to appease an irate customer. Our wedding video is crudely chopped and edited with either deafening sounds or no sound at all, not to mention the bride is missing after the first 5 min until our ceremony starts plus the location is filmed for a good part of the video as if a promotional video was attempted for the venue considering they are whom recommended the Wedding Plaza. Our cocktail hour is missing, and it was promised it would be 6 hrs in length for the raw footage which in actuality is only 3 hrs. Our video was promised to be high quality and far beyond any quality at all. Our enlargements were damaged or cropped to the point of almost excluding individuals of our bridal party.Desired Settlement: I have emailed the [redacted] about all of our concerns and after a failed attempt to correct certain product decided the diplomatic approach was ask for a partial refund. We find no value in the product and have exhausted our time and efforts to be met by silence or being ignored. We payed $3796.00 and asked for $2000.00 in return considering we did receive the album, Thank You cards and did keep the "wedding video" plus understanding the wedding plaza needs to pay their staff for their "work" on our wedding day. We would like to be refunded and end the business relationship diplomatically.

Business

Response:

I have spoken and responded to clients email.

All that is in question are 2 parent albums that were delivered to them that

they were not satisfied with I told them I would be more then happy to upgrade

them to a different album type and also redo there enlargement at that point we can finish out contract.

Thanks [redacted]

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted] is correct. He did agree to upgrade our parent albums and fix our damaged enlargements. What [redacted] is forgetting to mention is that his resolvement offer came after I sent the e-mail asking for re-embursement and advising him that I would be seeking satisfaction outside our business relationship if we could not come to terms. What [redacted] is also forgetting to mention is that his offer comes three weeks after what was supposed to be our final product pick-up, which he promised to be present for after he made himself personally responsible for the handeling our of account and products. Not only was [redacted] not present, but when reached by his staff on the phone, to which I expressed my disappointment with what was presented to us, his response was, " I don't know what to tell you". As I stated in my initial description, the product we received is not what we were sold on, especially our wedding video. After seeing what we were presented with, we find absolutely no value in Arianna Studio's product nor their business ethics. I was charged in full pre-maturely going against a contract written by Arianna Studios itself. Regretably, we cannot re-shoot our wedding day. To Arianna Studios, we are simply another account. To us, this is the most important day of our lives. All we are asking is the right thing to be done and we can all move forward diplomatically.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: My wedding was back in June 2011. I have spent the past 5 years trying to get my parent albums from my wedding completed. I have made countless phone calls, sent many e-mails and the owner keeps telling me he is working on the albums and they are almost complete yet I have not seen anything. I never get return phone calls and follow ups that were promised and have lost faith that I will ever receive my albums. Please help me get them to follow through and provide me with the promised albums.Desired Settlement: Delivery of order. Two completed parent wedding albums and better communication/responsiveness from the company.

Review: My wife and I got married back in August of 2012. To this date we have not received our printed proofs to review. They gave us two discs that contained less than 200 pictures and were all of poor quality. Our contract for photography was for about nine hours. So, the photographer should of had well over 400 pictures for that time span. Many pictures that we knew we took at the hall and photo shoot at the Planting Fields were missing. The photographer kept on hitting his camera throughout the event. This alarmed me right away. I mentioned all these issues to [redacted] at the wedding plaza and he kept saying he will get back to me. [redacted] is really inconsistently and unreliable. He never returns any calls or emails. Also, they never gave us our thank you cards that were on the contract! [redacted] said he would make it up by giving us two enlarged pictures. Unacceptable! BEWARE! PLEASE STAY AWAY! Spend time researching and make sure company is rated well with Revdex.com. The wedding plaza is rated F. I wish I knew this prior to hiring these thieves. Also, we are still owed wedding video, parent albums, etc. We never received our items!Desired Settlement: I would like the job completed and refund for failure to provide thank you cards, web site with pictures, and photo shoot fee from Planting Fields. The wedding Plaza should be held accountable for the photo shoot fee since they could not provide us with a majority of the pics from this site!

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Wedding Plaza regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The Wedding Plaza only gave me the printed proofs last week after several phone calls to them. They still owe me my wedding albums and video. The company also must refund me for failing to print 175 thank you cards and posting pictures on their online portal.

Tell us why here[redacted] has received 0ver 1000 proofs with the last past month and received the original DVD in August of 2012. As of this moment we can not proceed in any album or video creation until all materials are returned back to us with there picture selection and there video edit points and baby pictuers the client has been notified of this on many occasions and we are awaiting a response....

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The Wedding Plaza ([redacted]) provided me with the printed proofs a couple weeks ago. However, my event took place 2 1/2 years ago. He must fast track my album since he delayed the album. [redacted] provided me with a date of 04/**/15 for the album design. He still fails to provide me with a refund for not giving me my 175 thank you cards. [redacted] said he will give me a few enlarged pictures for failing to provide me with my thank you cards but I rather be refunded for this.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

As client stated I am willing to provide him with extra pictures of his choice to the value of $75.00 as that's the value of the thank you cards that were never ordered and I am not willing to offer a refund.

Review: [redacted] was responsible for the entertainment portion of my wedding. Everything was going very well with planning until they received all payments for the entertainment package. The package included photography, video, lighting, photo booth, DJ, and Limo. During the wedding the photo booth stopped working and guest were unable to take their pictures which were supposed to be our favors for the guest. After speaking with the person in charge whose name is [redacted], he made it seem as if he would be resolving the issue as soon as possible. However, I had to repeatedly call, leave messages, and pop up at the business just to speak with either [redacted] or [redacted]. After months of repeatedly trying to resolve the issue on 10/*/2013 is when he finally issued me a reimbursement. That is just the start of the back and forth. [redacted] are also responsible for our photo albums, edited video and thank you cards. It was stated to my husband and I by [redacted] that we needed to complete the form that was given to us as far as what pictures we wanted in all albums and also for the thank you cards. We completed that form as soon as we received it and we sent the file via email on August [redacted], 2013. The reason it was not sooner is because we were on our honeymoon. It has been since august [redacted] and we have called as well as left messages. When we do speak with someone in regards to the status of the pictures we have been told to resend the email on 2 different occasions besides the original email. As of today 10/**/2013, [redacted] stated that she can not download the file that has been sent. However, when my husband checks it states that the file was downloaded successfully. [redacted] also statedbthat our photo albums and video would not be done before a year. That is unacceptable because we were never told that. They have not been empathetic to any of this and repeatedly keep telling us what they think we want to hear just to buy themselves more time. [redacted] also owes us $100 that he acknowledged he owes us but will not reimburse us. The DJ played for 5 hours at my wedding which meant that he was one hour over his time. So that cost us an extra $100. However, [redacted] had included the $100 into the final payment before the wedding but did not make us aware. [redacted] had told me that I needed to give the extra $100 directly to the DJ on the night of the wedding. So I did only to realize later that we had already paid that in the final payment. When I made [redacted] aware of this he stated that he would talk to the DJ and get back to me. Well, I ended up having to track [redacted] down by repeatedly calling and showing up at [redacted]. When I finally did speak with him he stated that the DJ told him that it was a tip from me for his services that night. I told [redacted] that, that was not true because I told the DJ what the money was for when I handed it to him. This has been going on since august as well. I finally got in touch with the DJ himself and he stated that he never told [redacted] that that $100 was for a tip and that [redacted] docked his pay $100 once he told [redacted] I paid him $100 for the extra hour at the wedding. [redacted] as yet to reimburse us our $100. When I do speak with him he just keeps saying he has to speak with the DJ and get the money from him. I have been nothing but nice and patient with [redacted] but they have not been treating me with fairness. I spent a lot of money with them. I even purchased my wedding dress from them. They should really value me as a customer. I feel that now that our checks have cleared and the money is paid we are no longer a priority. Business should never be done that way. I have had multiple friends that are getting married who wanted to know about them and I had to be honest with them and let them know it would not be wise to go with [redacted] Studios. You just never know how much business a previous customer can bring to you.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted]) to reimburse us our $100 and also I would like to know exactly when I will be receiving my photo albums, Video, and thank you cards. We have yet to thank our guest because of this hold up.
