My previous statement still stands Ms*** has been refund her voucher amount, per *** I was well withing my right to refuse Ms*** service as I was not willing to take on the liability and possibly causing harm to the client At this point the complaint has been resolved and should be closed Thank you

In response to the complain dated on May 7th, by Ms*** *** Ms*** came into my place of business for a scheduled minute massage and facial I gave Ms*** the intake paperwork to complete and once completed I began to review the information with her I asked
her about her back, as she stated on the form that she had a fractured vertebrae She said yes that she was seeing a Drfor the injury I explained to her that I could proceed with the massage but due to liability I would have to work around the injured area I offered her to reschedule the appointment if she would like to get a release from the Dr Ms*** said she did not want to reschedule as she had waited weeks to get in I then explained again that I would not have a problem performing the services but I would not be able to work on the injured area Ms*** became upset and stated she had said she had a broken back when she made the appointment I apologized and said that I did not remember her telling me this My policy, whenever there is a significant back injury, especially a fracture, is to have a release from their I explained this was to protect her and myself I would hate to have caused more injury because Regardless of her past history with other massage therapists it is and always has been my policy to not perform services on the affected area I am not a Dr., I cannot Diagnose therefore I cannot take the chance of exacerbating the injury Ms*** became very upset and kept asking me if I was calling her a liar That is not the case at all I simply would have remembered someone telling me they have a broken back and would have proceeded with my protocol of requiring a Drrelease.After a continued backed & forth discussion with Ms*** and it obviously not going anywhere, and both of us becoming frustrated, I asked Ms*** to leave my establishment and request a refund from *** ( this is the policy when purchasing a service through ***). Ms*** got up very angrily and told me I needed to refund her directly I explained that because it was a *** Voucher she would need to request it directly As soon as Ms*** left I got on the phone with ***, I was not able to speak to anyone but did leave a message explaining why I was refusing service to to issue a refund immediately As of May 8th the refund was processed and issued to Ms***.As far as compensation for her time and mileage; it was her choice to buy a *** that was not close to her home

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:When I called to make my appointment I informed her that I had a broken back I asked her to put me on a list in case anyone cancelled due to the pain of my back She was so nice at that time When I showed up she seemed grumpy from the start I tried to make pleasent chit chat with her but she was not into participating Then she found a reason not to help me - my back I had JUST come from seeing my doctor & as we talked I watched her discover more reasons to support her desire not to work on me It was like watching a light bulb come on as I watched her talk very fast & endlessly, not taking a minute to stop & LISTEN, she just planted her feet & became combative I was so disappointed, I did not deserve to be treated like a liar - I have never experienced anything so rude before - she really just didn't want to work It was odd She wasted so much of my time I want to warn other people I posted a review on Yelp & others reached out to me that had a similar experience with her.As far as the refund - I didn't get my cash back, Now I am stuck with a *** credit - not my cash And after experiencing such an unpleasant experience I do not want to buy another *** She owes me for my wasted time, had I not showed up she would have ben happy to take a no show fee - well I want my no show refund & my CASH - not a credit Sincerely,*** ***
