The Wellness Spot

Review: Initially purchased Three One-Hour Luxury Facials with The Wellness Spot in Encinitas, CA through AmazonLocal.com. After two months of requesting to schedule the first appointment through their website, no response ever received. After several attempts then at leaving voice message by phone, I was able to have the phone answered one afternoon and schedule my initial appointment on Jan. 4, 2014 with the owner. Facial was nice, she was nice. I set up a second facial for Feb. 8, 2014 again with the owner however at approximately 8:35am on Feb. 8 I received a TEXT saying they had to reschedule my appoint due to a pipe break and they did not know how long it would take to fix. After waiting one week, I called and left 2 voices messages about rescheduling, no one ever got back to me nor does the phone get answered. So again I sent a couple more requests about rescheduling through their website asking someone please contact me about rescheduling, again NO RESPONSE. I have also stopped by the business several times during their open hours and it's always locked up. I sent a complaint through customer service with AmazonLocal.com and will also be notifying the City of Encinitas as well. This is unacceptable behavior, unprofessional and I am very disappointed in this local business owners lack of respect to her clients and the community. NOT the way to create returning customers.Desired Settlement: I would just like to be refunded and felt that 'buyers' beware of this place of business.
