Good afternoon, Thank you for relaying Mr*** concerns to our team regarding his reservation for the weekend of March 2nd / 3rd 2018. We understand that he was staying at the hotel due to the Dance Convention, Hollywood Vibe, but the group block of rooms had sold out very
quickly once the meeting planner opened the site for reservations The hotel has multiple Dance conventions each year and this group’s booking pace was not unlike any other Dance event as parents look to secure their reservations months in advance for the annual spring events In researching Mr*** reservation, he did reserve it on September 17th, at the *** membership rate for one King bed. There were no rooms with two queen beds available to reserve as the Hollywood Vibe dance group had contracted all of them for their group event, and these rooms had been reserved by other guests prior to September 17th, Indeed, as he mentions in his conversation with the hotel’s Front Office Manager, Mr*** reservation was not the only individual that had to reserve a guestroom outside of the group block in spite of attending the Hollywood Vibe event. There were close to guests that had to reserve a rate higher than the contracted group rate for that weekend to stay at the hotel Our Front Desk agent who checked in Mrand MrsBouck did recognize that they were paying a higher rate and upgraded them to our top floor with Club lounge access for no additional charge. We understand that MrBouck is not pleased with the resolution but the hotel was able to provide the room type that was reserved as well as an upgrade, providing additional value with complimentary breakfast in the lounge and access to complimentary refreshments throughout the day.
