I went to purchase replacement rims for a 2006 Acura RSX when I came across this company The Wheelership. I did some research and found online they offered discount codes of either 10 to 20% based on the size of your purchase so I decided to try and purchase my RSX replacement rims for The Wheelership. I proceeded to put the wheels I wanted in the cart and then entered the discount code in the box they provided only to find out it was invalid. So I contacted customer service to find out whats going on and they said there was no discount codes avaialble. So I then asked why is there a box where the customer can manually type in a discount code if you guys do not even offer a discount. He claimed that the problem was from other sites offering fake codes but by them offering a box when you put your item in the cart to type in this discount code they creating the problem also. All they would need to do is remove this box from their website and there would be no issue. Instead they blame eveyone else and take no responsability for misleading their potential customers into believing they can get a discount on their product. You do not find out till the end when you already have found the product you want and are ready to checkout that you are actually going to have to pay either 10% or even 20% more then you were lead to believe. At this point the customer is forced to make a decision and the business knows this. They know this is an issue with their website and they refuse to do anything about it. They would prefer to mislead their customers and get another 10 to 20% out of them when the issue could very easily be fixed on their end by fixing their website. This is a very dishonest and misleading business practice.
