I purchased 5 tickets to an upcoming theater performance on 12/23/18. On November 14th my mother died and I called the box office to request a refund for all 5 tickets due to our family changing our holiday travel plans. The box office manager, Mark B. agreed to the refund and our electronic tickets indicate they were refunded on 11/27/18 and are no longer valid. Per his request, I submitted a death certificate to the parent company the very day we received it from the state of Pennsylvania. I followed up with the accounting manager and the theater owner, ***. I also spoke to Anna who I believe *** be in accounting as well. These three folks are based out of the parent company, Costume World's location in Pompano Beach. I was assured a refund check would be mailed to my home. They have since RESOLD my tickets and 12/23/18 - 2 pm performance is now sold out. This is a well known theater company in South Florida and I am shocked by this situation. I have recently filed a dispute with Amex and the 3rd party online ticket seller.

Billing Adjustment I expect a credit to my Amex or a refund check that I want to pick up from the box office at The *** Theater. A call from management would also be in order apologizing for this treatment since I have spent hours calling and emailing to check the status.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did not receive any refund whatsoever from *** Theater, no check was ever received by me. I would like them to produce a dated check with my name on it and the date it was cashed by me or deposited into my bank account for the Revdex.com to review. There is simply no such check.
I was not treated with respect or consideration. *** yelled at me on the phone and hung up on me not once but twice. It was shocking to say the least!
