The Wine School of Philadelphia

Last year for Christmas I purchased a gift certificate to the Wine School of Philadelphia. My girlfriend, the recipient of the certificate, attempted to register for a class of a few occasions and had trouble doing so. After making an attempt to sign up and having the website not allow her to, she reached out for help. This business has no phone number or contact information and forces you to post all questions and issues onto a public forum. She made a post (all of these will be included if possible on this claim and if not can be emailed or sent as needed) asking for help. The response was belittling and condescending and offered no solutions to the issues. At that point I took responded and went back and forth with the business over the course of several weeks. Asking early on for a refund, which has not be fulfilled.

The last response made to me was deleted from the forum before I could read it. In fact, they deleted the entire forum and began a new one. At this time they refused to issue the refund, deleted my concerns from the website, and gave me no other contact information. I went to their store during their posted business hours (found on ***). Several people were going into the building so I followed them. The person at the head of the room asked what I was doing there so I approached and calmly and politely told him I just needed to speak to someone about a refund. He became instantly irate and began elevating his voice demanding that I leave. I calmly stated that I had tried to use the online forum and it had not worked and I just needed to speak with someone to resolve this. He told me that if I did not leave right then he would call the police. I told him I would gladly leave if he could just give me the name and number of someone I could reach out to. He picked up his phone and called 911. I left because I was beginning to get irritated and did not want to raise my voice or give any possible showing of anger. This all took place in front of a large class of people that can attest to this.
