I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
My complaint is that I was not informed of The Winners return policy when I purchased the dress. If I had known of their policy I would never have tried to return said dress. When I did attempt to return my purchase the staff then informed me that the store has a no return policy on Prom dresses. They also informed me that it is not their policy to inform customers of the store's No Return policy. The copy of the receipt The Winner provided me has my charge slip stapled over the store policy of No Returns which made it unnoticeable and the additional tag is between three other tags making it obscure. The day I attempted to return my purchase, the staff was rude from the initial cashier to the store manager; for this I am requesting an apology. If The Winners staff had been even the slightest bit courteous I never would have registered my complaint. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Review: Bought a dress for my daughter on Saturday April 4, 2015 for her prom at [redacted] on May 1, 2015. I was not explained the store policy of prom dresses not being exchanged or refunded and when I went to return the dress on Monday April 6, 2015 the store refused to accept the dress. I offered to accept store credit and was refused this also. I stated that the store policy was not explained to me and I was told by the Manager, a Ms. [redacted], that the store workers get too busy during sales to explain the store policy to the customers and I should resell the dress on Craigslist. I was also informed that the "No Return Policy" has been in effect since 1988 and they can not ensure that every customer is informed of this policy. On the receipt it is stated "Returns gladly made within 14 Days with receipt and ticket attached." Being that the return was attempted within the store's two week return policy and that the cashier, who was named [redacted], never informed me of the policy concerning prom dresses, I feel that my rights as a customer have been violated.Desired Settlement: I originally would have accepted store credit had I been treated better but now I want a refund and an apology from the management of The Winner.
