The Woodbury-Story House Reviews (%countItem)
May 18, 2020
Hi I found *** Woodbury house to rent to film my movie. I wasn't told up front everything I would need to rent it. The lady who lives on site said everything in the house was USABLE except her bedroom I had workman comp. She told me they planned on buying curtain rods and curtains they did not, which cost me two hours to put up curtains I bought and we noticed their floors were heavily scratched everywhere I paid *** his *** fee. He says you have to also get a 1 million dollar insurance incase you blow up the house. I get that, then he says, you have to give me a *** deposit. I asked what for,he says incase I break something like a light bulb. I wrote him a check. he said don't worry, you'll get it back after you finish. On my last day, the set rep called *** crying and said, they moved the piano and scratched the floors. My camera guy had it moved without asking me He said there was no sign on it that says Do Not Move Later, the lady showed me feet small white marks and said 'oh, they're not so bad, I thought they were worse and I actually like where they moved it. For my deposit , he gave me back only *** out of $2,000, he said, over time for one day which the lady rep said 'stay until you finish your last scene and kept us talking about the piano! I write *** and asked for photos of the floor and he tells me to get them from her she takes care of that and she sends them, floors are scratched in gazillion marks to begin with before we even filmed and there. my crew made a few white marks only. I found photos online where the piano is in different positions and the floors were scratched then too. He charged me *** and I've written him April 1 for an invoice and he won't give it to me. He says it is at his office and not a priority and will on friday and then he doesn't and I emailed him again. I don't think he has one and he charged me. Takes 18 days to send invoice? The floors are scratched to begin with, an excuse because the piano was moved. I want my money.
Refund I would like to get my *** back. The floors are all scratched to begin with. Because the piano was moved he found an excuse to say I damaged their floors without an invoice!? I'm still waiting over a month for one. I have photos showing the floors. They made me use two hours of my time putting up curtains I paid *** to rent for and they can't provide curtains and the lady kept us talking about the piano after she told me to finish my last scene I diidnt stay late she said stay
