The Woodlands of Clemson

This was around May of Me and three of my friends were looking to sign a leaseWe had our deposits ready and were fully prepared to sign the leaseOne of the other people signing the lease and I went to the office to sign the lease earlier than the other two people, so it was just me and one other friend signing, the others were going to come laterWhoever the owner is, (I cannot find his name anywhere) found that the friend with me had signed a lease the previous year and not paid for it, which was the caseThe reason for this confusion is my friend had been told by the people from the previous lease his lease had been sub leased to another person and he need not worry about itOf course that sounds confusingHowever, this person had been living in the apartment without knowledge of the management until they found out shortly after this incidentWhere the problem started was when the owner caught my friend off guard asking questions about a lease from the previous year and began to get very rude with both of usMy friend was given no chance to give an explanation, much less even understand what the owner was talking about, being that he thought his name was no longer on the previous leaseNeedless to say, with no chance to even try to figure out what may have gone wrong or why my friend was confused, the owner accused my friend of lying and told us never to come backIt was very unprofessional in my opinion for the business owner to jump to conclusion, be so unnecessarily rude, and especially not even attempt to see if there was any reason for my friend's confusion or the reasoning behind my friends name being on the leaseNo, he just assumed my friend was lying and refused to let him signThe worst part was how absurdly rude he was about the whole situationThe owner also should have noticed someone living in one of his apartments for free†hat experience alone was more than enough to keep me from ever recommending someone live at the WoodlandsI didn't meet any of the other staff so I cannot form an opinion on anyone else in the company, but the owner is one of the rudest people I have ever interacted withThere is no way for me to describe how disrespected I felt leaving the Woodlands
