Review: We have been communicating with THE WORD GROUP INC via email and phone calls since the fall of 2013 about our patio floor and retaining walls that they built in 2008 sinking and leaning. At that time we requested two things: 1) remove all the photos of our house off of your website. They are as follows: Residential Gallery: photos # 4 & 5, Before and After Gallery: photos #1,2 & 3 and on the contact us page. You have failed to do so and we have still not consented to their use. 2) We asked that WORD GROUP FIX the problems. WORD sent us a quote in October of 2013, we agreed to pay and WORD agreed to do the work in the fall of 2013 after your business slowed down. We agreed. Then, in the fall of 2013 WORD GROUP said lets wait until the spring of 2014. We agreed. Then in 2014 WORD GROUP ceased ALL communication with us. WORD GROUP would not respond to emails or phone calls. We can send copies if you would like. Another email was sent June 2, 2015 from [redacted] with no response.Currently we are working with a Landscape company to repair the patio floor and rebuild the retaining wall. We have learned that the base we currently have has 2-3 inches of finishing sand and the standard is 1 inch. There was no fabric installed above the stone to stop the stone/sand from washing away. The base below the retaining wall was loose and not compacted.Photos can be supplied.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for the cost of installing a proper base so the patio and retaining walls are safe and will not wash way or lean.Removal of the photo's of our patio from the website. They are as follows: Residential Gallery: photos # 4 & 5, Before and After Gallery: photos #1,2 & 3 and on the contact us page.We have requested removal multiple times and they are still on the website.
