The World Egg Bank

I recently worked with The World Egg Bank to find donor eggs. After years of trying to conceive on our own, my husband and I are thrilled that we will be expecting our first child next Summer - thanks in large to The World Egg Bank and our doctor. We cannot express in words the delight, excitement and overwhelming love we are feeling at the moment.

The staff at The World Egg Bank were so incredibly helpful. I'm so glad my doctor referred me to them. At first I was overwhelmed with the process, but after speaking with the staff at The World Egg Bank, they guided me and walked me through what decisions and steps to take in our donor selection.

I had been struggling to get pregnant for many years. It took a toll on my marriage. A friend of mine told me about the World Egg Bank. Bless her heart! I was finally able to conceive. What I loved about this Egg Bank is that their pricing is straight forward and never varies. Even their guarantee is simple. They do not play tricks. They just want families to be happy. It understandable when not all eggs take, but I have been lucky. Thanks to the World Egg Bank for their quality service, straight forward pricing, and their simple guarantees.

My time and money at the World Egg Bank was truly well spent. They helped make the process worry and stress free which I really enjoyed from picking donors to receiving my eggs. They have showed me nothing but kindness and good quality eggs and service. I am expecting soon and I could not be happier.

My Wife and I bought a batch of Frozen Eggs from the world egg bank for around $20k. The Eggs were found to be substandard B Grade Eggs. They had no chance of survival from the beginning. The facility implanted 2 of the dying eggs as a hail mary with no expectations of them surviving. The company insist that the implanted eggs were viable but "not great". Where as it was made very clear to us by facility implanting the eggs that they were not going to work as evidenced by the quick death of the other eggs not implanted. All the eggs, including the implanted ones, shriveled up and died almost immediately leaving us with nothing but a broken promise and around $20,000 in debt. When I contacted the office about replacements for the bad eggs, they replied by saying they admit the Eggs were "Not Great". However they don't see a need for a refund or replacement. I filled out a Yelp review about our experience and then the Egg Bank proceeded to release parts of my wife's personal medical experience online, completely violating doctor-patient confidentiality

We bought the 6 donor eggs from the world eggs bank last year June 2015 and it took 6 months for them to realease or deliver the eggs at EVMS. I am 6 months pregnant now but my baby is diagnosed with Heterotaxy syndrome. ( for those not familiar with this syndrome check the you tube) so sad!after paying so much money for the donor eggs you expect you are getting best one.I JUST WANT THE PUBLIC TO BE AWARE OF IT.

Egg Donation is a voluntary and altruistic process. Screening tests are performed prior to donation to determine a donor’s eligibility. All testing is done at the expense of The World Egg Bank. The donor is not responsible for any charges incurred and is reimbursed for her time. These tests are...

used solely to determine a donor’s qualification for donation and are not considered diagnostic medical records.  These test results are not released to industry competitors as they are proprietary and property of The World Egg Bank. “The donor understands that as a volunteer who is not undergoing diagnostic or medical treatment for a disease, all labs, evaluations, examinations, medical records and retrieval information that are cycle related are the sole and proprietary property of TWEB. The World Egg Bank is not required to release any evaluation, screening or cycle related records to the donor and/or another donation agency.”   For the safety and protection of the donor, recipient and bank, consent forms are signed when the donor arrives for her first visit. As industry changes are made, contracts are updated and presented as “updated contracts”.  If a donor lives out of state, on-site visits are scheduled later in the donation process to allow that donor more time at home. No threats, coercion or penalty are ever implied or incurred if a donor or recipient chooses not to sign any document. Questions regarding any document are welcomed and encouraged.   Donors receive a $50/night per diem check. Her $250 per diem check was based upon this donor’s 5-night hotel stay. 6 nights are standard. However, in this instance a last minute exception was made and 5 nights were agreed upon, at the donor’s request, to accommodate and assist the donor’s personal schedule. Hence, she was reimbursed for her actual 5 night stay.

From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank The World Egg Bank for all they have done through out the process of my donor's egg retrieval. They answered every question I had and kept me up to date every step of the way. The staff really is great. I was very discouraged at the beginning of the process but after finding my perfect donor on their site, I had hope again. The World Egg Bank helped my dream of becoming a parent come true and I cannot thank them enough.
