Missed appointment times, overcharge me for service, complete unprofessionalism
Everything about the experience was terrible. These ppl were 4-6 hours late causing me to cancel my appts and didn't have the decency to call me until after 6.... they get here and they are upset and exhausted bc they were NEVER aware of the job. I call them before they left my neighborhood to reconfirm they're dumping it in MY neighborhood as agreed upon via my initial communication and was told someone else would be taking care if it, only for the owner to be rude as *** and try to make me pay for dumping my trash at the dump when he was aware I didn't need that service, to then stand corrected bc I HAVE EVERYTHING IN WRITING...
My apt with them was 2-4... the came at 8!! first 2 hours, from 8:10-10:10 were 179. They didn't start working again until 10:30 due to a gas station stop, they finished the job around 11:10-11:15... that is not a full hour, it's appx 30-45 mins of unloading time but charging me for an hour and a half unloading time? The invoice was not correct and I was told their gas station stop would be docked from the balance owed. The only thing removed was the trash fee that should've never been applied to begin with. I've never EVER had an experience like this before. The lack of empathy, communication, and professionalism on management's part, is the most baffling.

Desired Outcome

They need to explain how the bill came up to an hour and a half of extra service when 30-45 mins were used. A readjustment needs to be made to be an accurate invoice.

We did not receive notice of this complaint. Only the closure and would like to reopen to respond.

The owner Douglas *** agreed to cover cost of repairs for my furniture damaged during my move and has has not, nor has he been responsive.
Movers damaged my wall at the move out location, and damaged my wall and hardwood floors. In addition, damage to two headboardsas well as other broken items. The owner is not responding to call or text to address repairs.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be reimbursed for the repairs I have completed, in addition to repair/ replacement of my hardwood floor that's damaged and my damaged wall repainted

The Zeus Group Response • Jul 24, 2020

We have been in contact with Ms. and the matter is being resolved

To whomever read this complaint please do not use Zeus for any move large or small, local or out of State. This was the worst experience of my life

The absolute worse. Wish I could leave zero stars. I was referred to ***/Zeus Movers/Agape Home Solutions through two very trusted friends. I set up my moving times for 3p on a Sunday, about 3 weeks ago. The leasing office to my new place didn't open up until 1p, plus I had to do my walkthrough, so when he alerted me his movers were ready around 12:30p, I declined. It would've been a waste of their time sitting around, and more importantly, a waste of my money, because he definitely would've charged me for that. Well, they finally showed up to me at 7:15p after working another job plus getting pulled over for a broken light on the truck. They rushed through everything, fussed about my TVs not being in boxes, because *** did not alert me of any protocol prior to, got an attitude when I stated we would have to go to my storage unit as well to get some things, and the fact that I lived on the third floor, because Douglas failed to mention that to them. When we get to my storage unit, it's now about to storm, so they are rushing through everything I'm telling them I need and can wait to get (I needed all of it moved, but didn't have much of a choice unfortunately), and they are just carelessly throwing things every which way, even though I'm directing them to what I want certain things to go (so now when I go to my unit I have to guess where things are smh). And they're really rushing because their shift "ends" at 10p. We get to my place and they are rushing to get things up and down the stairs, my things getting wet because it's raining, placing my things on the nasty ground outside, and of course complaining. Before they even "finished" , the main guy contacted Douglas, and next thing I know, I'm told I need to pay the remaining fee lol smh. I ask about getting the rest of my things out of storage, to which I'm told after it was asked how much more I had to get, it would be $100 for about half a truck!! Are you kidding me'? I decline because I've already spent too much money on service: $351!! The next day, my bed broke (not the part that was previously broken, but the panels that hold the boxspring up on the side). So now I have no bedframe thanks to them. Probably broke while they were rushing my move. Glad my TVs didn't get damaged like I see other people's have been based on other tragic reviews unfortunately. But buying a new bedframe is also expensive which I cannot afford right now. Overall just pissed I paid $351 for service that did not even move everything when I could have gotten 2 crackheads and bought them 2 cases of beer or something, or tried to rely on reliable/unreliable friends for free plus a truck rental (***, etc.) Would've saved $300, $275 at the cheapest. Would never use them again. Ever!!

Desired Outcome

Refund I'd like all of my money back or at least $275 or a new bedframe.

The client had scheduled for a certain time and was not ready at the time. We were on time. So we went to complete another appointment. We would not have charged for anytime that we were not working which is False and baseless. There is quite a few things in Ms. report that have absolutely nothing to do with the services she received which would lend credibility to the fact that it is fluff to make her claim more credible. I was not contacted by Ms. prior to her submitting this complaint. Her move was completed and she was not able to move all of her items because the truck she requested was too small. I then offered to get the remaining items at a very low discounted rate. At this point our company had committed no faults. There is a fine line in people having a legitimate issue with the service and their budget not allowing them to extend the service to get the job completed. We were never contacted once about any damages. Had there been a complaint submitted then it would have been addressed. But based on obvious fluff provided in this complaint the request and complaint seem deceptive at best. Ms. clearly doesn't understand that an hourly moving service is based on time. Never once did she say the guys were moving slowly. They worked very hard for her and we have no evidence by our own viewing nor by a formal complaint or notification from ***. It was pouring down raining and we did our best to accommodate her move. Her bed was previously damaged and in disrepair as she stated in her complaint. We will not be giving a refund or replacing any items based on our review and the lack of credibility of this client. We look forward to any further assistance from the Revdex.com.

Customer Response • Aug 23, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First of all, my move time was 3p. He wanted the guys to move me at 12:30p. AND I HAVE FACTS TO PROVE THAT. So please stop with the b.s. And no truck type was given to me as a choice. I told him what needed to be moved, and he sent the guys with that particular truck. End of story. No dishonesty on my part.

Zeus Movers broke my TV during my move. I gave more than enough time to resolve the issue, but was given the run around.
My TV was damaged during my move on Friday, June 29th and I continue to get the run around.

I wrapped and protected my TV myself. When I submitted my quote on Thursday, June 28th, I noted everything that was wrapped and was never told my TV had to be in a box.

My movers moved out most of my items, then asked if I had room in my car for my TV. The truck was packed to the brim, so I assumed they just didn't have room for it. I had zero space for a 55 inch TV in my car and was told "Well we usually don't move TVs that aren't in a box." At that point the movers decided to move my TV anyway. I regret not checking my TV before they left. It took me a week to arrange furniture, so I didn't unwrap my TV until a week after my move. My TV had a ding on the bottom right corner and a damaged screen that started from that corner. It was on a TV stand, so clearly it was dropped on it's side. My $500+ TV was just purchased last year and didn't have a scratch on it prior to the move.

I called Zeus Movers on Friday, July 6th, spoke with *** and was told that I was partially responsible because my TV wasn't in a box. If they wanted my TV in a box, all they had to do was let me know. Mr. said it was plastered on his website, as if I'm supposed to navigate the website to inform myself about how they want my items packaged. Zeus Movers, you took full responsibility when you decided to move my TV. I could have put my TV in a box without wrapping it at all. How would you ever know? Who are you to say my TV wasn't properly wrapped? It wasn't properly handled. I would still get a BS excuse even if it was put in a box. No one would allow a mover to transport their $500+ TV without making sure it was wrapped well.

At first I was told to wait to hear back on Monday, July 9th, but I heard nothing, so I called back extremely angry the following day. I was told I could go and pick up a TV that that Mr. would purchase from a seller. Yeah, that makes perfect sense! I'll go out of my way to a random person's house to pick up a TV that may also be damaged and transport it myself back to my apartment. Absolutely not. I was then told I would have a TV droppped off the weekend of July 14th. Mr. needed a week to find the cheapest, most quality Samsung 55" smart TV for less than $250. NEWS FLASH: that's not realistic. I heard nothing from Mr. over the weekend (no surprise). I even waited until Tuesday, July 17th to call back. After calling several times, I finally got an answer and was told by Mr. that he was busy and he'd call back in an hour. More lies. I called back 2 hours later and got a voicemail every time I called. I then received a text message that same day, stating he was still busy and to please remain patient. I responded to Mr. and stated I needed to hear back from him that day via phone call, no matter what time it was, or else I'd have to take higher action. I didn't get a phone call or text back.

I paid $588.49 for my 55" Samsung Smart TV. Today, I purchased a 55" replacement TV for $429.99. I am seeking reimbursement from Mr. for $429.99.

Desired Outcome

Reimbursement for my replacement TV

Moving sucks. Zeus makes it painless. Seriously, I didn't have to do anything. They put our stupidly impossible ikea beds together! Kind, quick, and careful.

Very professional and fast working!!
