Kurt installed a new roof for us last year. His estimate and detailed report of what he intended to do inspired confidence that he was a professional. His corespondence with us was very personal and understanding . He was very instramental in getting us the most money we could from our insurance conpany by explaining the quality of the materials he used. I would definately hire him again. Linda and Jim

We live in a rural town east of Denver and suffered thru another hail storm in August of 2018. We had considerable damage but no leakage so we wanted to wait out the next hail season and not have the work completed until fall of 2019. We always spoke with Kurt Ulrich, the owner of the company for any communication. He has proved to be very friendly and proficient. We were always told approximate times for work dates, which we really appreciated. He was able to do the repairs for the entire claim, which meant a lot to us, to have to deal with only one contractor rather than one for every part of the damage. We had roof damage to our home, the pergola, our vinyl fence, paint damage, gutters, and damage to the metal roofs of our home shop and the storage building for our camping trailer. One contractor instead of 5 or 6 was great. Kurt's work and that of his employees and subcontractors was great. No complaints about the quality of materials used either. In fact, he even helped us find an even stronger class 4 shingle for our home that will hopefully withstand the next hailstorm. We will definitely be recommending The Colorado Roofing Company to our family and friends.

Speed, quality, and great communication. In a nutshell that’s what you get from Kurt and company. I’ve since learned that roofers can be like old school car sales. Quite scummy. But Kurt made me a believer that the good are still out there. He’s trying his best and it shows with all the reviews!

Roof replacement and kitchen/living room ceiling and walls damaged by tree - Kurt and Kevin handled entire repair job w/great professionalism and pride in their work (both their own and their sub's), leaving my house as clean as possible each night. They took care to protect the rest of house from the dust and debris of drywall and blown-in insulation (including tear-out). They arrived on time and as expected and stayed with my job until complete, but for a few unavoidable delays which were explained to me ahead of time. Noise, music, and language was kept as pleasant as possible for the 5-6 weeks they were here, and I will gladly hire them again if the need arises.

When moving into our home we were looking for a remodeling company to remove some walls, open a stair-well, finish an unfinished basement, level a sunken family room and redo the kitchen lighting with recessed lights. Our real estate agent recommended The Colorado Roofing Company as a company who could handle the project, as he uses them frequently. The guys did a great job. They worked with their engineer to carry some structure, allowing us to expand our stairway and make for an open entrance into the basement. They took the unfinished basement and transformed it, adding a bedroom, craft room and a full bath with huge entertaining area, stained doors and banister. They had the whole team…carpenters, electrician, plumber, HVAC, drywallers and painters. Solid contractors who don’t fit the normal stereotype. I also hear they do roofing, but luckily, we don’t need that as of yet. Good guys to call for anything home related.

We found The Colorado Roofing Company after speaking with a neighbor who had used them to roof and paint their home and really liked them. The owner, Kurt, came to meet with us, which my husband and I both liked. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable.
We originally called to have the roof replaced my husband also really wanted to insulate our attic before winter. In discussing the insulation project with Kurt, my husband felt he could tackle that project on his own and save us some money. Kurt consulted us on how to best do the job even before we signed a contract with them and we now have a super warm home.
The roof project Kurt’s crew worked on turned out great. They were clean and efficient. They also installed gutters and gutter guards and were the perfect finish, as we now have a high end looking dark grey roof with dark grey gutters and gutter guards that keep the debris out. Kurt and The Colorado Roofing Company are great contractors and definitely worth a call!

We reached out to The Colorado Roofing Company after the recent hail storm that decimated the Golden/Denver area and was met by Kurt, the owner. He assessed the damage and explained to me what I could expect with regards to the insurance claims process and the steps of repair. As a home builder, and roofing contractor, he spoke clearly about how our home could best be renovated and how our dollars could be used most wisely. We choose a hail resistant Class IV shingle and couldn’t be happier with how uneventful the whole process was. Kurt knows his business well, is easy to work with and very responsive. It would benefit you to add The Colorado Roofing Company to the list of roofing contractors you interview as they are true professionals of their trade.

After a hailstorm in May 2017, we were referred to The Colorado Roofing Company for our roof replacement. Kurt *** was great to work with; very personable and reliable. He went above and beyond putting together our claims and helping us deal with the insurance company so we could get the most out of our claim. He did such a good job organizing and managing our replacement that we further hired CRC to re-roof my wife's aunt's home, our rental property, and a family member's property as well. We appreciate a company that communicates with its clients and steps up to make sure the job is done right. Our thanks to Kurt and The Colorado Roofing Company! I had Kurt *** from Colorado Roofing give me a bid on my roof after a referral from my insurance agent. He came highly recommended. His was one of three bids, and high compared to the other two. I called Kurt to see if he could tighten things up a bit since I wanted to work with him, and insurance would only pay HALF of the replacement roof. He sent me a revised bid which was still higher than the other two, but I told him that I could work with the bid he provided. I also stated that, since the roof was not leaking, I wanted to wait until fall to have the roof replaced so that hail would not ruin the new roof this summer.
That was a few days to a week before the big hail storm of 2017. Apparently he saw dollar signs falling from the sky. Instead of blocking out a time to have this work done in the fall (liked I asked him to do), I received an email from him stating that he was "too busy" to call customers, and that he would "pencil me in" for mid-October. So much for effective business management.
This review is being written on November 1 since I'm not sure which part of mid-October I was "penciled-in" for. It's pretty clear to me that Mr. had no intention of doing this roof since I asked him to re-work his higher-than-the-others bid. It is apparent to me that he won't keep his word, and that chasing full-pay insurance claims is far more important than taking care of bids that he has already written.
That's a shame since I have had numerous friends and relatives ask me for a recommendation for a RELIABLE roofer. I tell them that I currently have no one to recommend, but that I have several roofers to stay away from.
