also sign at point of purchase. Aside from that we do take every precaution that we can to ensure we sell a good vehicle with no issues. Unlike many others in our industry we send our vehicles through a third party mechanical inspection and perform necessary services and repairs from there. This vehicle was no different and you can see the provided documents that show that for this vehicle. Furthermore, the consumer has the privilege at any which point; which many of our customers often do, to take the vehicle to their own mechanic of choosing for a pre¬purchase inspection. If preferred too they may bring someone to our place of business to help them make a decision. [redacted] was accompanied by her mother when she saw the vehicle.it was a few days after purchase that she first returned complaining about being told there was a knot in her tire. Although vehicles are sold as is we do want our customers to be happy so we offered to replace the tire in question and replaced the matching side to ensure even quality, see included receipt. The vehicle was purchased with over 98,000 miles on it and at this mileage issues can and do arise at any time which is also explained to the customer and a form is signed saying they acknowledge that. The report from [redacted] (dated August 15, 2016) shows the vehicle was already driven over 600 miles before they found these issues and there was no statement made about any power steering issues. On August 12, 2016 (two days after tires were replaced and three days prior to the [redacted] inspection) she came in with her father. On this visit she wanted a refund. We let her know the vehicle was sold as is and the contract was already signed. Her father asked what we could do for her and we explained to him what we had already done and showed him despite the lack of warranty what we went ahead and did above what was required. At this point an issue of the car overheating and steering pump was brought up. While the vehicle was at our place of business during this time we looked at the vehicle and no issues were noticed. At this point we said the best we could do is have them take it back to a mechanic that we use and see what they find. Later that day her father called and spoke to our general manager and simply stated to disregard it and they would just take care of it themselves. We take our reputation very seriously and in the many years of business we have been able to respond and take care of any complaints and issues that arise in a timely manner. We seek to have happy customers and do all we can and as such we do keep customers. Many come back to purchase a second or third vehicle and/or send friends and family. It is our goal to achieve the same with [redacted] and have taken many steps to help her out.Respectfully,[redacted]
