I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  [redacted] said I was to return the commode to the Oshkosh store and a check for the refund of $92.90 would be issued and mailed to me. Some of the information written on their internal notes and their response to Revdex.com was inaccurate.

I am writing to respond to the Revdex.com complaint that was issued on 5/11/15 and assigned an ID of [redacted] State and federal laws governing an individual 's privacy related to medical care prevent us from commenting specifically and/or referencing protected health information regarding an individual without an approved authorization for such disclosure or file.It is the practice of ThedaCare At Home to follow the compliance guidelines set forth by the insurance payors with whom our patients are contracted . We educate our patients at the start of their service of compliance requirements specific to the service/equipment they receive. They are provided with a copy of their service agreement, applicable documentation and acknowledgement forms with their signature agreement. We provide additional follow up and advise patients on how to proceed when they are not compliant. We do take into consideration any unusual circumstance that may hinder their compliance and are able to put a hold on certain billing time frames. When customers do not respond timely to our recommendations, we notify them oftheir personal payment obligation and proceed with billing them.ThedaCare At Home takes pride in providing excellent care with exceptional customer service. We are continually looking for ways to improve our processes so we can create the best experience for our customers utilizing our services. As much as we try to anticipate problems, we do on occasion fall short of our ownservice expectations. Therefore, we sincerely thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I have a brother on a ventilator at Thedacare in Neenah. When I asked his nurse if I could call tomorrow and talk to her...she said " what would like to talk about..."the weather". I work in healthcare in a different facility and couldn't believe this response. If she thinks she a comedian she's in the wrong field. The "talk" is to find out what his labs are, how's he doing etc. This my brother! I couldn't not believe this!

Review: A CPAP machine was prescribed for me in April, 2104. I received the machine at ThedaCare at Home in Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca,WI, (TCAH-W) with only minimal explanation which did not cover details of the 30 day compliance requirements. I was out of the country for part of this 30 day period and began using the machine on a fairly regular basis in mid summer. In Sept, 2014 I was contacted by TCAH=W and was told I was not in compliance and would have to complete a complete sleep study again. After investigating this, I signed up for a sleepstduy for early Nov. When the time came, I had developed some serious health issues that my family physician said should be addressed first and postpone the sleep study. ( But was using the CPA regularly by then.) The various diagnostics showed widespread cerebral lesions for which a craniotomy biopsy was performed at the end of Dec. The diagnosis was disseminated histoplasmosis. I was hospitalised for the month of January in the Theda Care medical system for treatment; severe complications developed and my hospitalization was extended another month. I was released in Mar,2015 but the recovery has been slow and incomplete. Yet I made the sleep study appointment and completed it on May 7, 2015. Prior to this I asked TCAH-W for a letter stating once this was done, I was not to be penalized. This letter was then received 0n April 13, 2015. On April 30,2015 I received a bill charging me for rental of the CPAP unit during part of this time. When I enquired at TCAH-W, I was told that this was essentially "punishment" for dragging the compliance issue out unecessarily, and that there was absolutely no appeal of this decision.Desired Settlement: I wish these punitive charges dropped and would like a letter of apology for TCAH for this egregious action, especially in view of the letter received that I was not to be penalized if I went through another sleep study

I am beyond disappointed and disgusted while visiting your appleton facility recently. I was researching the best places for my father to be at and be comfortable since he is sick and can no longer take care of himself. I approached a young lady name was tamiko (a name that is rare) and she refused to answer any of my questions if she did it was with the absolute most disrespectful tone and information. She decided answering her cell phone was more important then answering my questions, I did not say a word and simply stood there in shock, but what shocked me most of all is watching this staff member grab pills and as she looked around she took them. To have people like this working in here in a Healthcare facility is mind blowing. I would like the number, email to the highest person that I am able to get.in touch with so this issue can be resolved immediately, and because of that incident with that ignorant child I will never step a foot in any thedacare and I will alert others as well.

Received bad service from Theda Care.....I felt I was treated n discriminated against because of my color. I received no help and I heard the doctors and nurses laughing at me while my visit, making fun of my reasons for seeing the doctor. The staff is rude and I received NO help from the doctors. I would suggested if your of any color please Go to other doctors outside the Theda Care, so you wont be discriminated against because of your color.

Review: This regards the Thedacare office visit with Dr [redacted] in Waupaca, WI. After several phone calls to billing department, they will not code the office visit correctly. I went in for a pre-colonoscopy office visit, as required by them. Colonoscopy was preventative and no polyps were found. I am in my 50's and this was my first colonoscopy. A call to our insurance company confirmed 100% covered procedure and office visit as it was preventative. Only problem is they will not code it as preventative because they say only annual exams get coded as preventative. They coded it as a sick visit and insurance will not cover procedures coded this way.Desired Settlement: I expect to have the bill coded as preventative so it will be 100% covered as it was a preventative visit. I also expect to get reimbursed the $25 I paid in what I mistakenly assumed was the co-pay.
