Hired by [redacted] of Theraforce, to see patients at home for physical therapy. I was immediately given patients to see, and it continued for almost six weeks, before I questioned not receiving a paycheck (there is a three week hold). I was given an excuse of an explanation, with "check is in the mail" final response. Waited two more weeks, still no check, and finally informed him that I would not take on any new patients until this matter was settled. Within three day I was paid not quite a third of what was due me, and then [redacted] and [redacted] went dark - not answering phone messages, texts or emails (when providing service to their patients, either would answer immediately). Checking online, I found where someone else filed small claims against [redacted] and Theraforce for money owe for services rendered, and what may be other legal issues. They are a health care staffing agency, and you would expect honesty and integrity from both the business and it's owners.
Since posting my experience with Theraforce, several others have contacted me with the same problem Working for [redacted] and [redacted] in good faith, then not getting paid for services provided. The [redacted]' suddenly do not answer calls, emails or messages. Guessing what is owed to the five of us (at least five I know of) figure it is between 15 and $20,000.00. Now I see they are offering franchise opportunities to several cities in Venezuela, claiming the respondents can live in the United States legally, easy as 1, 2, 3. Either they will ask for money to be sent here, and will never get anything in return, or they will come here, work hard, and find they are not getting paid. Not being citizens, do you think they will take the issue through legal channels? It is obvious [redacted] and [redacted] are accomplished scam artists, and I can only hope someone see this and can take appropriate action.
