I put a $30 deposit down through cash app, for my hair appointment on May 4, 2019, for my prom. I came all the way from out west to out east on Post Road to get my hair done. Before I arrived I called the lady who I made a deposit with twice. She did not answer, which I then texted her. Still no answer. I arrive five minutes late, which is why I called before I arrived. Once I got there to (Thereu Touch) Suzanne was nowhere to be found. I asked the barber where was Suzanne. He said “she never showed up and her other client was looking for her too and if I have her number then I need to call her.” I then called her seven times still no answer. I sat in the car crying, because I had nobody to do my hair for prom. I finally got my self together to call 27 other places and everybody was over booked or they didn’t specialize in my hair style. I began to cry even more. I had only five hours left before prom started. I drove all around town to see if someone could do my hair, however nobody could. I gave the hairstylist I had set up a appointment with another call. Her son then answered. I had asked if Suzanne was there he told me “to hold on.” Then he found his mother she said “why did you answer my phone and told me she would call me later.” Ihad nobody to do my hair and I became frustrated and called her again after 15 minutes. She had then sent me to voicemail. The next day had past and I never received a phone call or a text. Which is why on May 6 I texted her @ saying I still haven’t hear from you. She then read my message and never responded. I texted her again and asked for my money back. Still no response. After I told her she was unprofessional she then told me I couldn’t have my money back and that her rule is if a person is late their appointment is canceled. She never informed me about this, but she had no intention-of showing up to work. I’m highly frustrated and devastated. I would like my money back, since I never received the service, because she didn’t show up to work

I am extremely concerned due to her assumption as to what time I got to the shop. Also due to that fact that she never came in to work to have proof of what time I came. Yes I do admit to coming late, however I called and before and she do not answer. Although it was only five minutes late, as I have said prior to the conversation before hand. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30am. I had arrived at 10:35 I walked around the salon a couple times. When I realized I could not find this hairstylist. So I had asked the barber where she was at. He then told me she never showed for my appointment and another one that was scheduled at 9 something in the morning. He then told me to call. Which I call at a little after 10:35. That’s when she did not answer again. Which I then called several other locations to see if they could do my hair and I began to cry in my car. After crying, like I said before hand I texted her on instagram instead of sms at 10:50. This was to see if she would respond and I made several more calls to her. After I had been sitting in my car waiting to see if this woman would show. Which she didn’t, nor did she answer phone. I have my call log and messages as proof. And due to the fact she used my instagram message as a back up because of the time. I still have the call log and my phone company can get a recording of the conversation we had on the phone that day. Where she told me she would call me back and never did. When I had first texted her on instagram her website was down. I even have screenshots of her website being down. Also I have screenshot of her Instagram where there is nothing stated as “if you are late to an appointment you lose your deposit”. Which I am extremely glad I took screenshots, because I have recently tried to go back on to her Instagram. Although she has blocked me on Instagram. Also she keeps talking to me as if I were a kid an not someone who was suppose to be a client. This is highly unprofessional and inappropriate as a business.
