I have been in business since October, and have never had one complaintPlease see my two positive ratings on YELP
This dispute
from our perspective is as follows:
*** ***, from *** N*** Fresno, CA XXXXX, requested an air conditioning service call on September 30th, At no point in the phone conversation was he promised a free service callMy service call is and includes 1/labor timeMost repairs can be handled within this time period
Minutes before I arrived (while driving-see text 4:PM) he informed me he has a two story roof "fyi"Had I known this I would have declined the callI do not handle two story roof repairs as I do not have those types of ladders but since I was already there I decided to see if gaining access to the unit would be possibleOnce I told him I did not have that type of ladder, he said he could borrow one from the neighborSince it was past pm and I knew it would be difficult for him to have service from another company this late in the day, I relented, telling him if he held the ladder I would repair the unit
As it turned out his filter was cloggedI unclogged it and his air conditioner worked fineHe asked me to write a different diagnosis on the invoice so that he could collect from his home maintenance insurance companyUnfortunately I did soWhen it came time to pay me, his credit card was declinedThen he tried another credit cardThat too, was declinedFinally he agreed to pay with a post dated check but asked if I would call on the 10th to see if he had the money and if not, he said he would pay with a credit card over the phoneI agreed and left
I texted him on August 10th (see check date, see invoice date, text messages, to substantiate all of this)At this point he begin arguing, asking for me to reduce the call to $and threatened to report me to YELP, Facebook, and Revdex.com(see texts) He claimed I overcharged him and on YELP he lied, saying I was only there minutesI was there minutes and did not charge for the extra time it took to pick up and return his neighbor's ladder
After consideration and my culpability in colluding with him on the invoice, I decided to void the invoice and return his check, which was done the same day he made complaints with all sourcesI really don't want any part of this transaction any further and consider this matter resolved

I would have closed this casebut now accuses me of lyingI was never told how much it would be, and he agreed to the two story dealhe did not have toAnd I did half the workI unclogged the unitas I went in and flipped a switchI did receive the check backHe was in agreement for collusion to defraud the insurance company
