Tell us why hereFirst of all, I did not give an application or altered permit, it was a valid permitI am open to everythingThings happen as the following:We applied for permit on 6/9, job was performed and completed on 6/which was a weekend and we didn’t know that we were going to have the
following issues when we called on Monday to schedule for inspectionI found out that my Contractor Registration was expired, requirement for most of the contractors need to have done in order to have a valid permitI got surprise because I was pretty sure that registration hasn’t expired yet, that city works different as others usually do, but I didn’t wait to register again that day I also found out that they were required an HVAC report which it takes more time to have that done because I have to have some measures at her home and the day I can do that he was not able it also delayed to have inspection doneI asked the city why they issued the permit that day If registration was not active, they responded that their system usually does not notified contractors that, until you called for inspectionsI summited everything that the city was asking for, he had inspection already, it was not approved because inspector ask for small things to have done, I went back and had fix all small details and we are waiting for second inspection as wellLet me mention that is not easy to have an inspection for next day due to a high volume of inspections and we are waiting also because the day available they had customer was not able and he decided another day.When customer asked to pay the rest of the Invoice of $after inspection, I said it was fine I did not have problem with it because I was 100% sure I was doing my job right and like to be reliable with my customers, I also understand them that they distrust sometimes specially when they are spending a large amount of money, if I was doing that the way he saying I wouldn’t be flexible with the way he wanted to pay. Attached you will find proof of the permit he received and he is able to show to the city and payment that was made for it on 6/It was not my intention that this was going to happen I never lied to himIs very important for me to be honest with my customers, and would never take advantage of themIf I’ll be honest I will success

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me pending final inspection.
The issue originally was 1) installing equipment without a valid, approved permit from the City of Flower Mound. I was given an application for permit but It Was Not an Approved Permit as required by the City before work was done.2) Payment of $600 was withheld pending inspection.  Not legal to install A/C without a valid approved permit. No way for me to know if contractor installed everything per code.If contractor had a valid approved permit, the full payment would have been done the day of installation.
