Work done 6.24.20.
Was totally misled. Was led to believe that Mr *** needed to replace parts to 2 of my units so that he could do an evaluation for the inspector to complete his report. He was hired by the buyer. With that in mind, I gave him the go ahead to do the repairs, since I needed the inspector to do his work and for me to receive the report.

I received the report later that day from the inspector (which had been completed prior). Also the inspector's report noted that all 3 units were working (contrary to him stating that 2 of the units were not working, making it impossible to start his evaluation).

I confirmed with the inspector on 6.25.20 and was informed that he was able to complete his report as all units were functional. He did recommend evaluation by an HVAC specialist (as he did with everything else in his report, for professional perspective since they are beyond his expertise). I called Mr *** and informed him of his misrepresentation the day prior. He was adamant that he was not working with the inspector and had no relationship with him and was hired by the buyer's agent.

However he did slip when he stated that he reached out to the buyers agent for repairs to the units, and was informed that it would be covered by me, the owner. I informed him then, that what he communicated to me contradictory; he had stated he needed to replace parts to initiate his evaluation; but the aforementioned statement would have been based subsequent to an evaluation. He had already determined that these parts would make the system more efficient, to the satisfaction of his client. Not that they were necessary. Henceforth misleading and misinforming me to achieve that goal is unscrupulous. He should have been forthcoming and not hid his intent (now threatening to remove the parts installed if not paid by me).

For peace of mind and to ensure that he did not damage my units he was paid his $675

Customer knew about the bill, and was to pay by credit card immediately. I told the customer to wait until work is done. Once work completed , didn't contact the customer because of other job I left for,
Next day customer not answering emails or phone calls. once I got a hold of the customer. he was trying to postpone the payment and trying to connect my company with home inspection .
Even though he is aware of the invoice and was ready to pay.
He wanted to py me at the closing of his house, when he was demanded to pay immediately, things started to change.
There is no misleading or misunderstanding ..
I even offered to undo the repairs and put everything back as it was at my expense. instead customer wanted to pay the invoice and write a review to hurt others.

I stand by my initial review. I was misled to believe the work he was hired to do was not possible since the units were not working.

I told Mr ***, the delay in my response to his e-mail was due to me awaiting response from the Inspector, after I found out that his presence on my property was after the inspector had completed his report. Not prior as I had been led to believe. I did not feel comfortable having him back on my property for fear that damage could be done to my units in my absence. I never hired him and has had no communication with him prior to the day in question.

My review is intended to protect others from being misled. He had already evaluated the units, know what the "problems" were, and after communicating with the buyer's agent for repairs was put in touch with me via my agent. However my conversation with him was that he was unable to do his evaluation because the units were not working (contrary to the inspector's report). This is the misrepresentation I refer to. He should have been forthright and presented the facts to me as he did the agent who hired him (knowing the units were operational but needed optimization). There is integrity in that.

We offer all money back, or whatever it takes to make our customers happy.
Let me know.
We will make it up, that's was the first response with that customer, and always.
