Please accept our sincere apologies for the very poor experience you had with ThermoWorks while seeking a warranty replacement for your ChefAlarm--which you should have received much sooner We have investigated the history of your interactions with us and come to the conclusion that we flat-out failed you This is not a experience with ThermoWorks, nor, of course, should it ever be We are addressing the mistakes made so they won't be repeated in the futureWe are also sending you a new ChefAlarm via the quickest shipping method available, with our sincere apologies

the funds have beenr released however I am still wondering why it took them so long? Why was action taken on this matter only after I contacted the Revdex.com? The issue has been resolved but I am far from satisfied ( because of the way I was treated by thermoworks ) also I wold like thermoworks to know my name is [redacted] NOT ***.Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] (dba Mojo Industries) has been identified as a unauthorized dealer (or reseller) of ThermoWorks products on Amazon.comDespite informing Mr [redacted] that we would not sell our products to him under these circumstances, he place a second order on our websiteCredit card preauthorizations are approved by the customer when placing the orderThe actual charge does not occur until the order is fulfilledIn this case, the order will not be fulfilled so the preauthorization will automatically fall off of his cardThe length of time this takes is controlled by his credit card's issuing bank

Revdex.com: I have dealt with many merchants, and when orders are cancelled, the transaction on the credit card is always erased very quicklyUpon calling the company to investigate this issue, the customer service staff showed no interest in solving this problemIf this purchase would have occurred on a debit card or another payment that is subject to overdraft, over drafting would have occurredMy point in making the complaint is that although this company does not wish to sell me products, this is not a license for them to disregard me as a former customer that ordered products through their site at one timeI have felt completely disrespected and given no attention when calling to correct the transaction authorization problemEven if I need to call my financial institution to work out the issue, one would think that Thermoworks would at least be willing to investigate this issue on their end, instead of just saying "I don't see anything about your order that was cancelled." Sincerely, [redacted]

After trying to help the customer with his ChefAlarm via email support and two phone calls, we could see that he would not be happy with a repair or a replacement probe or a new ChefAlarmWe issued a refund for his order on 5/16/

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL-OWNER MIKE DESHAZER HUNG UP ON ME WHILE I WAS TALKING TO HIM CONCERNING MY UNRESOLVED AC ISSUE (I WAS NOT RUDE TO HIM, I TOLD HIM THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT HE WANTED TO FIX MY ISSUE NEXT WEEK, IT IS DEGREES HERE IN SOCAL) HE DID NOT BOTHER TO LISTEN TO A WORD I SAID AND MADE IT SEEM AS IF I DID NOT HAVE AN APPT FOR TODAY (WHICH I DID) HE DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO CALL ME BACK INSTEAD HE CANCELLED MY WORK ORDERTHANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME AND OLD REPUBLIC'S TIME

time clock and are required to respond promptly with scheduling and service previously agreed upon to become a service vendor for American Home Shield. Thermo Works arrived at the property and the tenant allowed entry so that Thermo Works could diagnose the A/C system. While on the property of the homeowner, authorization from American Home Shield was needed to complete repairs. During this phone call AHS could reach the homeowner to inform them of non-covered costs. Also Thermo Works was not able to reach homeowner, on site, to inform him/her of non-covered costs. Because of this Thermo Works was not able to complete repair. After this instance, Thermo Works bills AHS only for the work approved during the authorization phone call while on the property. At this time we are required to inform American Home Shield if the homeowner paid the deductible, which they had not. So Thermo Works closed out work order with AHS and billed accordingly. At a later date, homeowner contacted Thermo Works and requested that Thermo Works proceed with completing repairs. During this time, technician met with homeowner, and charged unit with three pounds of refrigerant and the return trip labor fee which equated to $150.00. Homeowner is confusing initial deductible due to contractor at time of service, that American Home Shield paid us since they were unavailable at time of service, with return trip labor fee.
