Review: the yellow pages is a scam they ,do not tell you everything up front they talk to you about putting a add on the internet , then send a bill in the mail then call and tell you it has been done before you have agreed then tell you that it is 137.00 to cancel , that was never disclosed ! when you say I never agreed to this they say well we transferred you to another person at that time you agreed by talking to person . they should disclose this info . I was told hold on let me get the recording ,trying to manipulate me or intimidate me . terrible way to get business watch out !Desired Settlement: just want people to be aware and not get scammed by the yellow pages usa.com

Review: This Company called one of our locations and the person contacted does not have the authority to accept any offers from any company. All authorizations of sales and etc. are conducted at our Corporate Headquarters only. I contacted The YellowPages USA and was told they have the employee recrded as saying she was authorized and accepted. At this point I researched this company online and found this was one of their sales tactics, they play a generic sales pitch, and at the end you hear the person's voice agreeing to the product. It appears they are also recording people without their knowledge, Again I will state, No one at our outside locations have the authority to accept any type offers.

On 7/*/14 after receiveing a call about an outstanding invoice I requested a copy of the invoice. [redacted] emailed me a copy, with the address to submit a payment. I sent a reply back " We do all our advertising with another company and have never used this company for any type advertising. Please let me know if you have any other questions.". I received another message which stated they have the employee recorded. At this point I decided to contact Revdex.com for resolution.Desired Settlement: We require this company to dismiss the Invoice we received and to remove any and all locations of Corner Pantries and/or Tucker oil from their call list.

Review: I was contacted by Yellow Pages USA earlier in the year. They told me they had a sample listing for my business. When I told them I wasn't interested, they told me that I wasn't obligated to pay anything, only review the sample, and if I decided to purchase it, at that point I could agree to purchase and begin payment. I was then connected with a different operator who had me simply verify the information on the listing. Within a few weeks, I received another call saying that my payment was past due. I told them that I never agreed to anything, and was told that I had the right to review and decide if I wanted to purchase. She then replayed for me the segment of the conversation where I spoke with the woman that verified the listing, not the man that told me that I wasn't agreeing to a purchase. I immediatly felt I was being scammed, and authorized them to charge $200 to my account while I figured out how to pay the rest. She said that we could figure out a payment plan from there. I was charged $349 (the remainder of the balance) today (6/**/14), without ever authorizing the payment.Desired Settlement: I would like to have this listing removed, and my money refunded, as I feel that I was scammed. I did an internet search of this issue, and found similar complaints about Yellow Pages, or companies claiming to be associated with them.

Review: MY COMPANY HAS RECIEVED A BILL FROM THE YELLOW PAGES USA, I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS COMPANY TO DO ANY ADVERTISING FOR MY COMPANY. THE BILL STATES THAT I OWE THEM 549.00 AND ITS PAST DUE. THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER ON THE INVOICE #[redacted], ONLY AN ADDRESS. UPON SOME RESEACH THE NUMBER I HAVE FOR THEM IS ###-###-####, THERE IS NO LIVE PERSON FOR ME TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO ME.Desired Settlement: NOT TO BE CHAGRED FOR ADVERTISING I DID NOT AUTHORIZE.

Review: We sold our agency in 2012 to another insurance agency. The girl whom took care of advertising received this fax for advertising in the yellowpage of nc. and the symbol look real to her. She came to me for signature for renewal "She thought" and faxed to company. She advised the owner did advertise in the yellow pages , and he was not here so I sign and gave back to her. She sent to Yellowpage. We started getting bills saying a large amount was owed and past due. I finally wrote the company and advised this was misleading and we did not want to advertise with them that I felt this was a scam and they wrote me back saying I was implying that they company is in violating the consumer laws. They proceeded in the letter to advise I must make payment and that I signed a contract for a 2 year duration and could not cancel!! They advised I can not cancel unless It is done 3 month prior to listing in the directory. I have contacted Revdex.com and was advised there were many complaints and that the bill I gets shows a Switerland address on it at the bottom!! We have been scammed and they refuse to cancel immediantly and said they will remain on the billing.Desired Settlement: For the company to cancel the contract asap as requested and to delete billing. I have copies of notice from them and a letter if needed for file
