Thibodaux Glass

I took two doors to a glass shop back in September 2019 to have glass installed. When I showed up to pick them up a couple weeks later, I was in shock! They set the glass in the doors with BLACK silicone! These are brown stained doors! The Manager agreed that it was not done right and agreed to remedy the situation. Upon returning, one door was cleaned up and looked decent, but the other still had black crap everywhere. How could anyone think that this was finished and looked half decent?! Again, the Manager agreed to take it back and fix it. Upon returning the third time, most of the black stuff was gone, decent enough at this point anyways, BUT they broke off a piece of the moulding and tried to give it to me broken! AGAIN, leaving it there as the Manager said he'd fix the broken moulding. Upon showing up for the FOURTH time, the moulding he replaced looked horrible since it's an antique door and he replaced the moulding with brand new moulding that isn't even close to matching. And then the following... I said sir, you broke my moulding and the moulding you replaced it with doesn't even look like the rest of the door. He replied, look, we specialize in glass, not wood working. I said, I understand but YOU broke the moulding while working on my door! His response to this, "Look, you can either take the door or I can throw it in the dumpster." WHAT?!?! This coming from the Manager of a business?! So, needless to say, I had to take the door at this point. I brought the door in February and just picked it up last week. 8 months it was at that damn place. Absolutely never getting our business again!!!
