Received call from *** Thielen at Thielen Motors, indicating Ms *** has picked up her vehicle and is satisfied with the outcome.Explained that Thielen paid for a number if items identified as problems, where Mr Thielen felt these items should have been caught by the dealership prior to
sale.Says Ms *** did need to return to the dealer one additional time where a clip was not secured properly, but this issue was rectified as well

I am rejecting this response because:I still fully believe that the vehicle is a lemonI have still been having issues with the vehicle not shifting properlyI have not contacted *** in regards to the continued issues with my vehicle as *** directly said that unless the car does not move again or a light comes on not to bring it downAs well I was only given months free of on star from GM I have the letter I received in regards to this still and it states it is for only months

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and they agreed to only pay for bad a arms and rear sealNo help with timing chains or rack and pinion leakTired of arguing so just agreed to get my daily driver back on the road

Spoke to *** Thielen of Thielen Motors, to get business' perspective on complaint.Mr Thielen says that the dealership feels it has worked with Ms *** in good faith to address her concerns about the shifting / transmission issues she's experiencedHe says that when the dealer first became aware
of the more severe issues (i.e., vehicle not moving, Service Engine light on), Thielen Motors made the necessary repairs -- replaced a transmission control moduleSays this appeared to resolve issues, but Ms *** still felt the vehicle was not shifting / driving correctly.Mr Thielen says the dealership has attempted to explain on one or more occasions that the Sonic has an "adaptive" transmission, and may take some time to "learn" Ms ***'s driving habitsAdditionally, he notes that the vehicle has a 6-speed transmission, which can sometimes create the impression of feeling "extra" shifts or the vehicle searching to find the correct gear.Knowing that Ms ***'s vehicle does not currently meet the threshold for pursuing a Lemon Law claim with GM, Mr Thielen says Thielen Motors has done a number of things at the local dealership level to try to make things right with Ms ***Says he reached out to GM to see if they might be able to provide some goodwill assistance -- they were able to offer months of free OnStar service, and an additional $in trade assistance should Ms *** wish to trade the vehicle toward something different.Mr Thielen says he attempted to work a trade with Ms ***, but as she was in a negative equity position on the Sonic and could not come up with the required $3,down payment, they were unable to reach a resolution in that manner. He says he has not heard from Ms *** since about mid-February, when he advised her that if she experienced any further instances of the vehicle not moving or a 'Check Engine' light coming on, she was welcome to contact the dealership and they would get the Sonic in for service right away
