Wonderful people to work in Alaska, summer of 2017. Would absolutely partner again.

As an employee and director of Alaska Operations I can attest to the excellent work being done here. We have led going on 600 mission trips, and always strive to be effective in ministry and give a great experience to those going and those we are serving.

Thirst Missions provided an outstanding opportunity to grow in faith and to be shaped by the Holy Spirit while serving God’s people in Alaska. The mission trip allowed me to see fire of the Holy Spirit working in the people we served as well as those of us on the mission team. We spent the mornings engaged with our new friends on recognizing and developing spiritual gifts, and then worked in the afternoons on various projects like building barn doors, repairing buildings, or landscaping the facilities. We even had some time to enjoy the beauty of God’s gifts in nature: hiking, fishing, biking, exploring, and just reveling in the beauty of the streams, mountains, animals, and sunsets. Just like the Alaskan days, our work days were long. We returned to our cabin exhausted each night, but the next day God was walking with us on our journey, filling us with His spirit and renewing us with His love.
The mission trip was very well organized and yet flexible to the changing situations each day. Transportation, lodging, and food were all taken care of, allowing us to concentrate on God’s work. I highly recommend Thirst Missions.

Thirst Missions cares about missions and the local church in Alaska, Belize, England, and the Texas Gulf Coast. The consultants do an awesome job setting up the trips and the trip leaders do too. God has done and is doing great things in Alaska, Belize, England, and the Texas Gulf Coast. Thirst Missions has really great local church partnerships and a true opportunity for long term partnership if teams so desire. The mission trips are focused on Jesus and the ministry, and relationships between local church and teams; not to mention a little awesome recreation built in! I've really enjoyed interactions I've had with the Thirst staff and they have always answered any questions I had. Their knowledge and experience in missions is superb and I would highly recommend going through them for your next mission trip or even long term church partnership.

I had a phenomenal experience with Thirst missions in December of 2016. They are a true long term missions group that seeks to do good by hiring those in the country they are serving. This allowed someone like me who went to belize for a short term missions to know that we were doing work that Belizians actually needed not just a Christian group doing feel good work.
