This That & More

I purchased a used refrigerator from This That And More in September 2015. The appliance was delivered and was not working and has been returned.On September 19, 2015, I wrote Check number 1230 in the amount of $500, $475 for the purchase of a used Kenmore refrigerator and $25 for the charge to deliver the refrigerator from This That and More to my home. I wrote the check to [redacted], at her request. The refrigerator was scheduled to be delivered on Thursday, September 24, 2015 but was not delivered until Friday, September 25, 2015. The refrigerator never cooled and/or worked properly on the day that it was delivered. On Saturday, September 26, 2015, the business delivery person, Mr. [redacted] was contacted and made aware it was not working properly. About 6 p.m. on Saturday, he returned to my home to check on the refrigerator. I was not there but my Aunt, Mrs. [redacted] advised him that he should pick it up because we are concerned it may continue not to work properly and would like to return it to them. On Sunday, September 27, 2015, Mr. [redacted] and/or Ms. [redacted] did not call or come to repair or pick up the refrigerator. On Monday, September 28, 2015, neither business owners called or came by to pick up the refrigerator as promised during the Saturday evening phone call. On Tuesday, September 29, 2015, I called Ms. [redacted] directly and advised her that I had purchased a new refrigerator from Lowe's and needed her to come and pick up the refrigerator because it is not working and we do not have anywhere to store it. Ms. [redacted] requested for me to leave it outside of our home. I advised her we would not do that. Fortunately, Ms. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] arrived at my home to retrieve the refrigerator prior to Lowe's arriving with the newly purchased refrigerator. I have contacted Ms. [redacted] several times about the monies I paid for purchasing the refrigerator and she stated she was going to return my money but has not made any diligent efforts to communicate to me when she will return it to me in good faith.Desired SettlementBecause the refrigerator was not delivered on time and was not in working condition, I am requesting a full refund. The business owners did not offer another refrigerator in lieu of the broken appliance. We went three days without a refrigerator in our home, using our older refrigerator from the garage. We also bought dinner out over the weekend due to the inconvenience of not having a working refrigerator in our home during the weekend from Friday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon. We spent $150 in additional food and grocery during that timeframe. In addition, the brand new refrigerator costs $700 which was only $225 more than the one purchased at their business. Due to this situation, I have spent a total of $1350 when I only expected to spend $500, I am in a $850 deficit from these events.

I bought a refrigderator on 2/19/15 and on 3/13/15 it has stopped working I notified the company I bought it from and she didn't not seem to careThis refrigderator cost me $400 the sales women informed me She would have to put a drop tray in for the ice maker but will do so before delivery date. When it arrived it didn't have he right one she assured me she would get the right one that's was on 2/21/15 .. I waitied patiently for it never was given to me well on 3/13/15 The refrigderator stopped working all my food went bad I called to tell her to tell whats going She was very rude and being that I still don't have the correct ice tray for my fridge I asked for a refund she now says they do not do refunds never once did she say no refunds nor any signs stating that policy I tried reseoning with her but got no where. But I will b taking this' matter to court I have. 400 $ fridge that does not work and 200 & worth of grocerys gone bad Desired SettlementI am asking for a full refund from day one as been a problem I still didn't get the correct ice tray and now the product does not even work I have scramble up money to buy a new fridge and grocery because 200$ worth is gone spoiled
