I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me only because this is a lost cause He gave me an orange and white sofa, but he willnever admitthat he is wrong, and lying to boot.thanks for at least airing this.***

Yes this person did Purchase a jet ski from me personally. This issue has nothing to do with my store or store name. I did tell her I would refund some of the money for the price of the starter repairs.after that I did not hear from her again until she came into my place of business asking for...

double what she had paid for the jet ski. Her son had called me before I talked to her and called me names and attacked me on a verbal level. Again I sold her this Motorcraft on a personal level. Has nothing to do with my business  and she came in yelling and threatening me in front of my children and my customers. So to get her out of my store I told her to leave.the last thing as a small business owner that I need is somebody attacking me verbally in front of my customers especially when I did indeed try to be polite and refund some of her money when this is a used watercraft with no warrantees or guarantees that was sold from one personal party to another.

showed up and stated cussing at my father. He came and got me and she started cussing at me yelling at me that I resold her couch. At that time I did not have a blue settee in our store. I showed her the only other blue couch that we had and she said that was not the one. After her insults and irrational behavior I offered her money back and told her she could keep the couch as well. She took the money and said she didn't want the "piece of [redacted]". As far as I am concerned the issue is resolved with her getting her money back. Review: I purchased a 1995 Kawasaki Jet Ski from the owner of This and That Consignment Store. The ski was sold through his business. The owner stated that it ran but did have an issue with the starter. He stated if you tap the starter with a screw driver it will start. I had a mechanic look at it and after replacing the battery and the starter it still would not start. The mechanic said that the Bindex was frozen. I spoke with the owner at This and That and he said that he would refund me some of the purchase price to help pay for the repairs. The mechanic was able to repair the Bindex. However it still would not start. The mechanic found that one of the piston rings was completely bad. There was a piece of metal in the piston that had caused so much damage that it needs to be completely overhauled. Furthermore, it was discovered that the title to the ski was invalid. The HUN on the title did not match the ski. I spoke with the owner of This and That again and was told that I would have to take him to court if I wanted to get any money on the ski. At this point I have more money invested in the ski than the ski is worth and according to the DMV, the ski may legally belong to the registered owner that lives in Modesto. The DMV clerk stated that the invalid HUN on the title was registered in 2010. The same time frame that the owner of This and That purchased and registered the ski. When I spoke with the owner of This and That regarding the invalid title, he stated "why did you even start this with DMV"? He then kicked me out of his store.Desired Settlement: Due to the current issues with the title of the jet ski, I am hesitant to put more money into the ski as I am not the legal owner per the DMV. I would like a full refund of the ski and the money that I have put into it so far; $1399

Review: I purchased a small blue settee from this business just as they opened for the day. I made arrangements tohave it picked up by 3:30pm that day. My husband showed up with a truck at that business @3pmto find it closed. So he went back the next day, without me, with a description of what he was topick up.. The next day I looked at the merchandise and it was a small orange and white sofa. When Iwent back to the store, I was already upset at the mix up. The owner insisted that he had givenme the right merchandise, and when I questioned that he became irate. He verbally insulted myintegrity, my experience and said that I had better "check my memory for issues". I know what Ipurchased and took offense at the manner in which he dealt with me, and his insistence that I didntknow what I was talking about. He had even put the wrong sofa back in the place the other one hadbeen, to prove his point. As there was no sign of the settee I wanted, I have to assume that theyhad re-sold it to somebody else, perhaps at a higher price. This is unprofessional and probably unethical. He expected me to keep the wrong sofa and let himkeep the money for the other one. As I was told not to come back, I certainly wont and certainlywouldnt anyhow. People should stand by their sales operations and take responsibility for any mix-ups.Desired Settlement: An apology would be nice, my settee even better, but I have unpleasant feelings about this guy.I would like to undo this whole scenario.
