I spoke with [redacted] several weeks ago regarding a fence for a rental property managed by our company that we needed replaced and asked for an estimate. Initially, he was extremely helpful and told me they would be there the following Monday in Carson City and would contact me with an estimate shortly there after. It has now been several weeks and although I have left messages for him on his voice mail, as well as my wife who also left messages; we have never received a call back. Worst customer service ever!! Maybe they should change their web site to state that you might never hear back from them again, because so far the quality of this experience does not speak well for their company!Desired SettlementWhy they are so rude!Business Response Tholl Fence does our best to provide estimates in a timely fashion. We offer these at no charge to our customers. On occasion, especially during our busy times, we may fall short. As a FREE service, we do not feel that this constitutes a complaint to the Revdex.com. Furthermore, as a courtesy, FREE estimate are also provided to our out-of-town customers. As [redacted] request for an estimate is in Carson City, his estimate is considered as "out-of- town". We schedule trips to Carson City and outlying areas when we have sufficient requests to justify the expense of the travel, fuel and labor costs to provide that service, again at no cost to the customer. With the exception of [redacted], our large customer base of other out-of-town customers certainly seem to understand that a free service without any obligation needs to fit into our demanding time-frames and schedules for cost and manpower efficiency. This is our busy season, and estimates located directly in the Reno/Sparks area are currently booking-out 2 weeks or more. We are blessed to have customers that understand the seasonal demands and time-frames those of us in construction have to manage.In conclusion, our estimator did visit his property and provide an estimate. Perhaps the estimate was not done in the time frame that [redacted] found acceptable, but it was completed and at no expense to him whatsoever.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)We had already received estimates from 2 other companies while waiting for Tholl Fencing to send one out. Both firms where more competitive than Tholl Fencing in price, so it all worked out for the better.
