I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
He is a liar. That NEVER did happen. He sold the vehicle to someone else so that he could flip the money and attend the action. Regardless Mr. [redacted] had me sign my papers so that he could submit the loan to get the money. He DIDN'T get the loan canceled until I threaten him with the police. CREDIT ACCEPTANCE can verify this information. He owed them the money back and didn't have it. He knew he was in the wrong that's why he tried to give me a loaner car until he could get the issue resolved. But my husband and I both decline. He saw my husband at the gas station and continue to say he was sorry. That is the worse place I have ever done business with and its my last. This company needs to be shut down. [redacted] and Mr. Thomas beg me not to press charges on them for fraud in which I did go and speak to the police and the courts both stating that they have had MANY COMPLAINTS about this place. God was with me because I wasn't held responsible for that vehicle which was a piece of trash.  I just hope no one gets killed driving one of his vehicles.
Regards,

Review: December 2013.....My husband and I went to purchase a 2005 Chevy Tahoe from Mr. [redacted] of Thomas Motors on 12t Street. A contract was drawn up and submitted to the finance department. I was pproved for a $15.000 dollar loan. I return back on Saturday to get the vehicle to find out that [redacted] had sold the vehicle to someone else who had paid cash money for the entire truck. [redacted] then stated to us that he was going to an auction on that following Wednesday to purchases 2 more trucks one being a yukon. My husband and I agreed to wait and see what he had purchase. He sent me pictures of the vehicle through texts messages and email. He return back with the Yukon. [redacted] told us tha the truck was being inspected and cleaned up for us. My husband and I went to look at the vehicle at the mechanics shop. Once we got there the people that was working on the vehicle stated that we didn't want that vehicle becasue it was rusted all the way through at the bottom. He stated that we were going to have some major issues later down the road if we purchased it. As we were talking with they guys at the show, Mr. [redacted] rides by and see us talking. He then calls the guy that we were speaking to and told him to keep us in the pocket. Meaning to tell us everything was good on the truck so we would buy it. We ended up leaving and [redacted] continue to call and text us to get the vehicle.

January 2014.......I received a payment book for the 2005 Tahoe with a monthly payment of $384 a month. I called [redacted] to ask him why I was getting a payment book for a car that I didn't own. He stated that he had canceled the loan back in December 2013 and not to worry about it.

February 2014......I was approved for a Nissian Maxima through Lynchburg Nissian. I received a call from them saying that I had a loan in my name from a finance company for over $15,000 and that I needed to pay them before they release my car to me. I have been talking with [redacted] about this. He has been giving me the run around concerning this loan. The finance company states that he was paid for my loan and until he pays them back I can't get another vehicle. [redacted] has been lying about everything. On the loan he stated that I put down this big lump sum for the vehicle and that I traded in a car. Thats a lie. I did nothing like that. He falsified that contract with the finance company. He has told me that he has paid them and he hasn't. On Thursday when I spoke with him he was a an action buying more vehicles but have not paid my loan back. He has stolen money from them people. He has been signing the REAL owners name ( Clarence Thomas aka Muggs) to all of the paperwork. In doing some background investigation he lost his license to sell car in another state. I am still waiting for this to be cleared but he will not return my phone call.Desired Settlement: I would like him to get this taken off of my credit and to get this loan taken out of my name TODAY!!!!

Review: I purchased a 2000 Land Rover from New Keys (Thomas Auto Works), from [redacted], Finance Manager. He agreed to my price verbally but wrote a higher price in the contract. After hiring a lawyer, the contract was re- negotiated. I purchased tags from [redacted] and paid the taxes with a check totaling $375.75.Th is was about 2 weeks ago. The temporary tags were due to expire on Aug. 23, 2013, I made the owner- Clarence Thomas aware of this on the 22nd of this month, he told me [redacted] was out-of-town. On the 24th [redacted] still had not returned to get my tags.Mr. Thomas advised me to drive the car to my home with dead tags, and said "you probably won't get stopped by the police from here to fillmore". I didn't do it, I waited for [redacted] to get there. [redacted] put dealer tags on my suv until Aug. 26th.I had paid for personalized tags, he went to dmv and bought regular tags, I still have dealer tags on my suv.I was told by a clerk at dmv having dealer tags on my suv is illegal.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my personalized tags put on my suv by Aug. 27th, and an apology from both [redacted] and the owner Clarence Thomas. I have only had one other bad car buying experience in my life, but this one is by far,the worst.

She has her personalized tags now and had them for awhile. Personalized tags take longer to get.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Greetings, I filed a complaint against Thomas Auto Works (New Keys) recently, and today would like to tell you Mr. Thomas proved to be a man of his word. He stood by his word in standing behind his product. He was aware of the 2000 Land-rover having engine problems when it was sold to me and he had it fixed, at his expense. Although I received my tags late due to the paperwork not being sent in on time by [redacted], he did compensate me for the price of my personalized tags and I have since received them. I believe in the future I will have a good relationship with both Mr. Thomas and [redacted]. Thank you Revdex.com for your prompt time and attention to this matter.[redacted]

Review: I purchased a 1998 ford explorer in mid April, 2015, which was in need of a transfer case that I purchased for $225.00.

I took my truck over to Thomas Auto, the mechanic name is [redacted], which he did install the transfer case. He told me that during the repair process he bent a part that is required for my 4 wheel drive shaft. I asked him how much is the part going to cost and he told me " don't worry about it he will go to the junk yard and purchase one and install it on my vehicle, told me to give him a few days. Due to me working from 10-430p and then attending night classes from 530p-830, our times weren't adding up for the work to be done. The beginning of May, I realized I had a fluid leak and another mechanic I know of looked under my truck to see about where the leak was coming from, then I was asked " did I have a 4 wheel drive or 2wheel drive? I responded "4 wheel". It was then brought to my attention that my whole 4 wheel drive shaft was missing from under my truck. I then drove to [redacted] at Thomas Auto and told him that another mechanic went under my truck searching for a fluid leak and brought to my attention that I was missing my drive shaft told me that my whole 4 wheel drive shaft was missing from under my truck. He then showed me the 4 wheel drive shaft that he had hidden and secured, to let me know he has the part and told me he going to get everything fixed once he ordered the part. I was told recently on Sep13, 2015 which was a Monday to bring vehicle in which I did, and was told it will take between30-40 minutes. I left my vehicle at the shop and came to pick it back up around 10/1025a the same day, which no work was done to it. [redacted] told me that I would have to bring it back Wednesday he should have the part then, so I left. I reported back Wednesday to get told that he ordered 3 parts that should be in sometime throughout that day, one part for me and another 2 part for other customers. I then stated to him " look im ready to go about this the legal way because, since I purchased my truck he has been giving me the run around and I need my drive on before the weather get cold because I was trying to relocate and wanted my vehicle to be right for my child and I. He then said " look come back Saturday the earlier the better and hell have the part and will put it on, once Saturday came I was told he's has to run to junk yard later to get it" I responded that I thought he had it delivered and boy did he get upset, cursing, throwing tools, so I just told him i'll see him in court because the way he was acting was very unprofessional. he started yelling saying take him to court he doesn't give a [redacted]. I did mention to him that I was going to speak with his boss which I did, I came back to the shop Saturday about 2 hours later and spoke with [redacted] which [redacted] did not see me once I approached the shop, he did see me coming out of the office and he started cursing saying that he told me not to [redacted] talk to anyone because know one can do anything about it because he is leasing the garage. I was told from [redacted] as well to take him to court because the boss([redacted])said its nothing that he can do because [redacted] pays 1600 a month for rent, and not only is he rude to customers when there not satisfied with his work but he is stealing parts off of people cars and I wasn't aware until recently that [redacted] is not even licensed to be working on any ones cars. I was not aware that [redacted] was leasing his bays to unlicensed mechanics. All I want is for him to purchase my four wheel drive shaft that disappeared out of his auto garage and replacement of the part that he bent. I can then find a new licensed mechanic that will perform honest and reliable work for their customers, don't feel comfortable anymore dealing with [redacted] because, he can not be trusted and I can not afford for him stealing any other parts off my vehicle.Desired Settlement: the business has a responsibility to provide for the services payed for and also make sure there customers needs are met. The business should also have honest and licensed workers working, because customers shouldn't have to worry about paying to get one thing fixed and mechanics taking other parts off cars or loosing up another part just to get service. especially targeting women
