When my car totally broke down I was In such a rut! I herd of this company from a personal friend of the business ownerNot knowing what I was expecting with the amount of damage that was done I was very worried about the cost of itBut Mr*** gave me a really great quote from what other mechanics had quoted me and was a lot more professional and very sincere about my situationI couldn't be more happier with the work that was done and would recommend this company to anyone who has car trouble

repairsAny information needed will be submitted in court if proceed in this caseAfter speaking with *** over the phone I met up with *** l *** to discuss the problems she was having with her pontiac montana she advised me she has never replaced any parts on her vehical in years but just did preventive maintance as in oil change and oil filter and air filterBased on her complaint about her van I attended to *** needs as she wanted me to to figuer out the no crank issue with her van so she can have the issue with her vehical diagnossed and fixed based on agrermant between *** l *** and thomas automotive llc to proceed with necessary repairs to get her vehical running again due to an issue with the van not wanting to crank over after she had *** emploee install a brand new battery in her vehical that she purchased from ***When I arrived at *** to Inspect *** l *** dark red pontiac montana parked in front of the *** building were as stated above she had and emploee from the *** business install a battery wich later lead up to her vehical not starting when she wanted to proceed and leave from the *** storeWhile inspecting *** l *** pontiac montana I found that due to the age and condition and corrosion from the vehical being in snow had managed to shorten out a few brittle wires from the power source from the battery wire to the starter wich runs in between the undercarriage of the vehical wich she was missing splash shilds to keep the environment and weater reatained from corroding these high voltage wires wich in her case caused the wires to prematurely fail and shorten out the wire. Based on that from inspection performed by me phota l thomas in the *** parking lot were her vehical was discovered disabled I than contacted *** l *** to explain the matter of the issue she was having I than advised her to get her vehical towed to my place for further inspection to confirm the issue before proceeding with repairs based on agrermant. I than spoke with *** l *** and said that she will need to have the vehical towedWhile on the phone with *** l *** she said she did not have the money to pay for towing due to her having financial problems. I than proceed to explain to her that the company can pay for the tow and also waive the diagnostic fee and provide rides to her job and home free intill her vehical is repaired do to her situation and need for use of this vehicle for her day to day routines wich is a standard complimentary service from thomas automotive llc*** l *** than agreed to proceed and the following morning I did as promised and I had her van towed to my place rogero rd for futher inspection to confirm the issue and be sure that was her main problem for her no start issueAs I inspected the wires and fixed and replaced as necessary I than tried to start the vehical once again with the same issue of no crankI later contacted *** l *** to exsplain the matter of what I done to try and resolve the issue with the same problem of no crank and advised that I will need to do further testingI later discovered the starter had also been damaged from the short and noted the age and amount of corrosion and rust being on the starter stating it was the possible orginal one from the vehical manufacturer that has not been replaced or inspected in years as *** l *** advised. So I told her It will need to be replaced and discussed the price for the starter and labor wich she than agreed to pay for and have replaced when she got paidThe following day I was contacted by *** l *** that she had money for the repairI than drove to *** l *** job to collect payment for the repairs as discussed above and proceed with getting the part necessary to get her vehical startedAs I installed inspected and replaced the bad starter I than cranked her van up and it started right up after approximate min of letting the van run while inspect over my workThe van be gain to sputter and stallI than contacted *** l *** again to let her know the van is now running and based appon letting the vehical run and idle while I conducted a final inspection of the work I performed on her van I proceed to let her know that the van had stalled after min of idling while I inspected the job performed with the starter and rewire for the power wire between battery and starter. She than proceed to explain to me her fuel gauge is off and the gas might be possibly low? wich her gauge was bouncing around at the full mark wich she stated the gauge was inacurate and her vehical has never stalled on her beforeI than told her ok I'll check over my work again to confirm my work has been done correctly. I than checked over my work I performed on her van and everything was correct and to factory specification and proceed to start the van which started up just fine as the first time I started her vehicalI than contacted *** l *** and told her I am going to be dropping off her vehical to her now since it's running and her no start issue with starter is correctedBased on driving *** l *** vehical to her I noticed the van was running a little slugish as if there were maintenance neededAlong the way from *** *** ** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** ***While getting of the hwy from to exit philips hwy her van once again stalled leaving me to coast it to mattress firm store beside a gas stationI attempted to start the van again with only to hear the motor turning over but not starting as if it was out of fuelI than contacted *** to let her know that her van was having issues with starting again but this time the starter was turing over but what I belived the van may have been out of fuel and was immobile once againShe than advised me that it's possibly out of gas due to the gauge not functioning correctly I than proceed and contacted some one to pick me up and take me to my home location to get a gas can so I could put gas in *** l *** vanI than got back to the location were her van was immobile and left me stranded and I than proceed and went over to the gas station next to mattess firm and filled the gallon gas can up to put fuel in her vehicalOnce her van was fueled I than started it once again and contacted *** l *** to let her know that it was possibly just low on fuelAfter getting to her location to deliver the vehical we than finished our transaction from the repairs and gas put into the vehical' she than told me she will fill the gas tank up in her van the following day when she does go to drive it to make sure it full because she was unsure of how much gas has been in it since it first broke down at ***. The following day *** l *** contacted me phota l thomas and tells me the van stalled on her while leaving the gas station and she had to crank it over for 30min intill it started than asked if I can set a date with her to look into why it's stalling out while driving itI than later met with *** l *** at her home location were the vehicle was delivered to and I diagnossed the vehical in front of her to discover the van was in need of a major tune up due to the age and life span of parts that she stated she never replaced in years while I am pin pointing parts of the motor were hissing and noise was coming from she than later asked when will I have time to do a tune up and replace what was causing her running issues with her vanWe than set a date and time and I later started on the vehical with a tune up as agreed appon and told her what was in need of replacing to correct her problems and issues while doing the repairs I discovered multiple vacuum leaks due to blown gaskets around the intake manifold and throttle body also there were vacume hoses to the emissions system and fuel system that were dry wrotted and leaking causing the computer to run the motor in a rich condition dumping a lot of fuel to composite for the vacume loss due to all the vacume leaks In the gaskets and hosesThe vehical also had low fuel pressure do to a rusted out fuel pressure regulator wich later on I discovered the fuel lines were rusted out also and were leaking a good amount of fuel causing the motor to not get the necessary fuel as needed wich I took video and pictures of for documentation and records wich is a standard procedure with thomas automotive llcI than tested the van ignition system to discover the ignition control modual system was not putting out enough Spark to burn up the extra fuel that the computer was compisating to the motor due to the multiple vacume leaksThe age of the ignition control module and aftermarket wire that were in place caused the system to be weaken and age prematurely and causing battery drain alsoI than made out a list of repairs needed and contacted *** l *** to give her a price quote so we can move further on with the vehical to repair the issues that were accruing with her vanAfter exsplaing the coast for parts and labor she proceeded to tell me how she has never had these issues and if it was a problem on my end from replacing the starter and and power wire between the battery and starter to cause her vehical to have the issues it's having now she stated to me it ran perfect before I put the starter inI than explained to her it has nothing to do with the work I performed replacing the starter wire and starter it self because my work ive repaied is still operating correctly with the starter and told her the issues were from lack of maintenance and also from her living in the snow which the van is registered in Massachusetts wich snows out thereI advised her the van is in ineed of work and to have it run at its best she must make the necessary repairsChange Spark plugs, change intake manifold gaskets, change throattal body gasket, fuel pressure regulater, fuel pump, ignition control module wich was wired incorrectly and was draining the battery and giving out weak voltage if sat over night when it was testedIt needed fuel lines from fuel rail back to the fuel tank alsoWhen I told her the price for repairs she was unhappy and stated she did not have enough money to fix all the problems with the vehical and asked me to just do a tune up instead because it ran great before and she is having financial issues and was not able to come up with all the money at the moment I than agreed and proceed with the tune up as she wanted me to do intill she can gather up the rest of the money to bring the vehical back to get everything fixedAfter doing the tune up the van was still running poor she needed to replace the fuel lines and pump and correct the other isues stated above to have the vehical running normalI than contacted *** l *** to let her know the van was not running well and for the vehical to be drivable she would have to finish the repairs that I exsplained to her that was still needed. She got up set and stated between me and another shop we had her vehical for a month between the two companies she brought her vehical for repairs to and needs her van now!! so she does not have to keep getting a ride to workI explained to her that money is needed to start on the repairs just doing a tune up is not going to the do no justice for her vehical condition After days of waiting *** l *** finally got some of the needed money to correct the spark issues with ignition control module I contacted *** l *** to let her know I can't have her vehical here if its not being worked on or paid for in a timily fashionShe later on contacted me I than went over to *** l *** apartment and she invited me inside her home so we can finaliz the transaction to fix the ignition control module and to discuss the other issues I exsplained to her of the phone about the problems that she needs to take care of alsoAfter talking to her proceeding further in to get her vehical taken ofAfter her sighing the recipient for the purchased part she paid for so we can proceed she than become very very very up set about the other issues with the van and started cursing at me and being very irateI than told her to take her money back and take to come get her van and have some one else work on it because I had enough with the problems she presented towards me and my company she begged me and started crying and be histerical and begged me get it some what running so she can get to work wich I told her that is not going to fully fix the van and it will still have issues. There was still the Issue with the fuel lines leaking and fuel pump not supplying the needed fuel pressure to run then van appropriatelyI than put the ignition module in her van and dropped it off with her and collected what was owed from the laborI will like to get with *** l *** to give her a recipes from the repairs she has all recipient from the cash transactions just missing old parts wich I have here with me and a detailed listed receipt from parts ordered for vehical
