Response:

My driver, [redacted], picked up the 1991 Nissan Mini Truck from [redacted]. This truck was a project car according to [redacted]. He built this show truck 14 years ago and has been sitting for 12 years. Nothing has been done to the vehicle since that time 12 years ago and he had decided to sell it as is for $4500.00 to [redacted]. [redacted] to [redacted] he was going to get this so him and his son could work on the vehicle. At the time of loading, [redacted] advised my driver that the only way the door would open is to put 2 wires together or use a slim jim since the door fob was not operational. [redacted] drove the car on the truck at time of pick up. He showed my driver how to open the door that was not mechanically working. Our drivers are not slim jim certified and the door is expected to open by normal means. The driver needed to move this truck one time while in transit and he open the door this time with the slim jim provided by [redacted]. When the driver delivered the car, the door would not open with the slim jim or the wires so he had to climb in and out of the door. This is not a normal thing to do to gain entry to a vehicle. [redacted] advised that we expect the doors to open by normal means or with a operational button. [redacted] has tried to open the door since deivery and thinks we should pay for a door that was not operational the normal way.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The door they mention was opening like it was suppose with a button on the console to unlock it. I have spoken to [redacted] which he said it worked when it left his house. If it wasn't working properly like Sunday Transport saids then they shouldn't have transported it or they should have called me to tell me it was messed up! I do know they transporter told me when he delivered me the truck that it was working but he was unsure why it wasn't working now. The driver bent my latch in the door when he couldn't open it. Not only did the transporter mess up my door latch but he put a dent in my roof. I asked him about the dent when he took my truck off his trailer and he said he didn't know how it got there. He checked his paper work for any areas he marked for damage at time of pick up but he had nothing on his sheet about this dent. The driver stated to me again he was unsure how it got there! I have contacted Sunday Transported several times about the damage to my truck and every time they refused to cover any damage and they were quick not to take any blame! This company said there insured I'm starting to wonder if they are!

This is really a damage problem but that wasn't a selection from above.
