Review: On the day of the appointment to have the children's check up and cleaning. My wife was asked if she wanted to have sealant For the children's teeth. My wife agreed. At this point it was never told to us by the office staff that this my not be covered by insurance. we have since been informed that we now owe said office around 200$ per child (we have five). I have spoken to the office and the billing staff. I asked her If it was disclosed to my wife on the day of the visit that this may not be covered by Insurance. She then said I will not speak with you on this matter you have to speak with your insurance company. I do not feel that the office was honest and up front on the subject Knowing full well that many of these sealants are not covered by Insurance and they are purposely not disclosing the information to patients to make extra money from them. The way the staff spoke this is a regular occurrence. Desired Settlement: I do not feel that we should be responsible for the charges the insurance wouldn't cover. Due to the fact that the office staff purposely did not disclose proper information when asking if we wanted the services. EX. They asked if we wanted it done but never disclosed that the insurance may not cover it.
