These folks have not done what they told you they have doneI purchased a tiny minnie donkey but my paperwork is for a standard sized donkey and even that donkey is described differently in their paperworkI bought a little tiny jennyI did ask that the little tiny jenny get shots but I have paperwork for a standardWhen I asked them about the paperwork mix up they said they were just real busy but they promised they had seen my little jenny and did everything I had askedHow am I to be certain? So now I must regive all the shots because I can not trust my animal received careEverytime I called about this subject I was told they were just so busyAt this time, I was concerned that my donkey was never going to come to California so I just silenced and let it go until the donkey cameWe paid a hauler to haul all the animals we rescued and it then took Thomas Vet over an hour and a half to find the paperworkThey had it with some rescue organizationThat is just unprofessionalThere again the paperwork was for a standard and not my little jenny. I have asked them over and over to prove to me that they actually gave her shots since the paperwork was for a standard but it was to no availThey just leave me on holdWe called the Stave Vet on them due to other issues we have experienced and Dr *** did have a word with them. Thomas Vet had a front office clerk sign and do paperwork that only a veterinarain should attend toWhen we called and asked about this we were left on holdYou have to know we paid thousands for the animals and for a hauler to bring them to us in CaliforniaYou have to present valid paperwork at all the borders so to have a front office clerk do the paperwork was a little alarming and then for them to take over an hour and a half to locate paperwork was uncomfortableThey can not for sure tell me that they vaccinated my mini donkey and I only have paperwork on a standardHow is this professional? Sincerely *** ***

Thomas & England Veterinary Services began working with an equine rescue in March Due to the large number of new owners/buyers from the indicated rescue, there was no way to set up a new account for every person we had contact with for a one time transaction as most of the
new owners were not closely located to our practiceThe agreement between our office and the rescue operator required all transactions to be processed through the rescue account, but that all invoices would have the new owner’s/buyer’s name and telephone number listed on itHowever, all official forms relating to any specific animal, including the Equine Infectious Anemia testing form and the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection, were to be listed under the new owner’s/buyer’s name. As the animals were brought to our office by the rescue, we were given the ID number or name of each animal and the new owner’s informationEach animal was examined, treated/vaccinated accordingly and blood was drawn for EIA testingThe new owner’s name was listed on the EIA forms at that time. Antibiotics were made mandatory by the operator of the rescue organization. Some vaccines were made mandatory as wellOthers were given based upon the request of the new owner/buyer. Ms*** was a “new owner/buyer” of one of these animalsThe week that Ms. ***’s animal was to be brought in for veterinary care (including physical examination, vaccinations, Equine Infectious Anemia testing and treatment/preventative care for any illness at hand) our office spoke with her and obtained her farm address, telephone number and credit card informationWe informed Ms*** that Equine Infectious Anemia testing was a requirement in order to write the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (also known as a “Health Paper”) for the animal to be transported when it came time to ship it to her farm. She requested that the animal also be vaccinated with West Nile, Rabies and Fluvac Innovator vaccinationsShe was also informed that the animal would be given antibiotics in order to treat any illness it may have had or may have come into contact with during its time spent in unknown environments prior to arriving at the rescue facilityAll charges were quoted to Ms*** at that time and she provided us with her credit card number in order to ensure that her animal would be seen and treated as she requestedShe was informed that her credit card would not be processed for the services rendered until she was contacted with the invoice amount and a general report of how the animal appearedShe was contacted at the telephone number provided after services were rendered and we processed the credit card number she provided us with for $159.91. Soon after the transaction took place there were numerous animals that began to show clinical disease at the rescue facility and all animals were quarantined in order to prevent the spread of disease by shipping sick animals or animals that had been in contact with the illnessDuring this time our office worked with the State Veterinary Office to ensure that everything was done to keep the disease isolated to the rescue as much as possible. After the quarantine was lifted, a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection was written on November 6, to initiate transport of the animal to Ms***’s farmDue to circumstances unknown to us between the buyer and the rescue operator, the animal was not shipped out within daysAfter days, the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection is considered void and was re-written on December 9, 2015 to again attempt transportation of the animal to Ms***’s farmIt was at that time we were informed by the person hired to transport a load of the rescue animals to California that Ms*** had purchased another animal from a new buyer that we had already completed the paperwork on, under the new buyer’s nameDue to the volume of animals treated and second hand information given to our office, the paperwork took some time to locate and verify that it was the correct animal. We have been made aware of issues between the rescue and some of the new owners, however the paperwork, treatment and charges associated with the animals from the rescue that our office was responsible for providing are, to our knowledge, accurate and in accordance with all rules and regulations set by the office of our state veterinarianOur office has not been reprimanded in any way for our involvement with the rescue A letter can be provided from the State Veterinarian’s Office of Kentucky to confirm this.Throughout the process of treating the animal Ms*** purchased, our office had telephone and email correspondence with her and remained professional at all timesAll telephone calls were answered and emails were replied to in a timely fashion until a credit card dispute was filedMs*** filed the dispute with our credit card processing company on 12/24/to have the charge of $159.91 reversedThomas & England Veterinary Services was made aware of the dispute and upon responding with copies of all paperwork concerning the charges, the credit card company ruled that Ms*** was, in fact, responsible for the chargesUpon losing the dispute Ms*** emailed our office multiple times making accusations and threatsShe has also left multiple bad reviews on websites making untrue statements about our veterinary practice along with the complaint to the Revdex.com Our office has not responded to the latest emails or reviews because we feel it would be an exercise in futility
