I wrote a check for $89.45. Thomas Hensley said he would get his secretary to reimburse me for this. It was a part for the oven.Desired Settlement: I want him to pay the $89.45 back to me. He has lied & lied.

Review: We hired Mr. Hensley to remodel our bathroom. He puts himself out as a licensed contractor. His website [redacted] states he is fully licensed and insured. I now find out he is neither licensed nor insured, nor has he ever had a contractor's license. We signed a contract on April 14, 2014. While giving us the estimate, he talked us into fixing the basin in the second shower of our house, saying that there was a leak in it. He promised to have the work done in 2 1/2 weeks, although it took a couple of months with sporadic work. The faucet jiggles in shower, after he had installed the hot and cold water backwards and then reinstalled it. There are splotches of paint on the wall (after repainting the bathroom several times because they messed it up.) The bathroom toilet paper roll holder falls off the wall, among other problems. We made plans with him to return the first week of July to complete the basin in the second bathroom since we had our son's graduation party planned within the week of completion of first bathroom. He uses pictures of our bathroom in his advertisements in the neighborhood paper and city paper. The first week of July passed , never hearing from him or he starting the work. We continued to call him with no reply with any reason why he did not appear to complete the work as promised the first week of July. After waiting a few weeks, we sent him a certified letter demanding our money back, with no response from him, even after we sent a second letter . Finally, we had no choice but to get the police involved. We paid him not only the amount due for the work completed but $2600 extra so that he could "fix" the master bathroom shower. He has never paid us our money back for the work not completed on the second bathroom and still owes us the $2600. I have all the documentation. At this point, I dont want him in my house.Desired Settlement: I want a refund at this point and for folks to know this guy is not licensed or ever has been as he puts himself out to be, as seen on his website.
