[redacted] complaint, we sent our head technician, Eric B[redacted], the very next day. He tuned and made some adjustments to the piano and reported back, there was nothing at all wrong with the piano. We were still willing to offer [redacted] another brand new Baldwin BP5 as an exchange. [redacted] was more than satisfied with the piano when in our showroom, but seemed to feel something had changed after it had been delivered to him. Pianos do sound slightly different due to their acoustic environment. When he tried the second brand new Baldwin BP5 in our showroom, he still was not a fan.  There is  something inherent in the tone of the Baldwin piano that [redacted] is not a fan of…..but the pianos are not defective in any way.    At any rate, [redacted] agreed upon a different brand….our premier Japanese brand Kawai, which was $1000 more($7995). We exchanged it for the same price as  the Baldwin($6995) and did not charge him a penny more, not for delivery, not for the more expensive piano….not for anything. So, the issue is resolved, and hopefully the Kawai K400, which is an extraordinary piano will bring him years of enjoyment and allow him to fulfill his professional goals.
