As I tried to explain to the patient's mother, we didn't receive her son's insurance until the last minute even though we asked him to provide it in advance We are an extremely busy dental office and need to time to prepare for appointments when it comes to insurance coverage Also, he came in a few minutes late and did not have his paperwork completed As soon as we had the opportunity, we requested benefit information from his insurance provider The fax showed 100% coverage for preventive At this point, we were not aware that he had been to another office for x-rays, he did not make us aware, nor did we have the time to fully investigate this when he arrived We don't go over estimates for procedures that we anticipate to be fully covered, we only go over estimates that cause the patient to potentially have an out of pocket expense, ie: basic and major procedures We have already written off the balance for the x-rays and we will also write off the balance for the fluoride just to get these complaints to stop Again, had the patient followed our instructions and gotten the information we needed in a timely manner, this would not have happened We did everything we could in the time we had

In the 2 previous replies I stated that I would send a revised statement and both replies were rejected.  I was waiting to hear back as to whether or not that would suffice.

I am rejecting this response because: The business has not provided the amount it will be billing, despite stating that it will revise its billing. How can anyone accept this resolution without knowing the proposed amount?  Again, this is confusing and deceptive trade and billing practices.

I am rejecting this response because: This business re-argues their unfair billing practices and unauthorized dental services but failed to respond with specificity on the dispute resolution.  The business states that it will "write-off" the fluoride but insufficiently addressed on the entire Statement of Account.  I am requesting their settlement resolution.
