I was finally able to get a copy of our cell phone records and it shows two calls were made to the contact number Ms*** gave us when she scheduled the service callShe scheduled knowing she would not be home, leaving her door unlockedOur plumber did give her an estimated price over the phone that day but also followed that quote by telling her it was just that, a guesstimate & that not always does the job go as easy as we would all like them to & in fact it could be quite a bit more if it was not an easy in & out jobThe problem really lies in the fact that she did not answer her phone when it didn’t go smoothly & I don’t believe she disclosed all the issues she was having with her drain line, because with the enormous amount of tree roots that had clogged her line, there is no way her plumbing drain system in her home was operating in a manner at all, for a very long time. The tech can state how bad the case was, or how many roots there are………..which does not matter as I was given a quote for $+ $for a toilet waxI was not contacted by the company again until AFTER my year old daughter had gotten home to find grown men in our homeI was never once given another estimate, only reason I signed the paperwork was to get the men out of my home as I am a single mother with daughters at home and these men had taken over our home without consentSince I had not been given any info on pipes being removed or mention of a different price I assumed I would be paying the quoted price, when they were leaving I signed just to get them out of my home and keep my girls and me safeI then called my father who was furious at the disgracefully behavior of the companyI have also spoke with others who state it was illegal for the original plumber to allow the other plumbers into my home without consent! It is not ok that my year old daughter goes home to a house with men in it when I was unaware that was even still there! That is dangerousI do not know these people! Nor was I asked if they had permission to enter my residenceNo complaint was made to the plumbers as I was in shock and nervous with just me and my daughters in my home, I just wanted them out of my house as they had no consent to be there in the first place and I was in disgust of the behavior and then the bill to be presented as they are leaving my house with no water hooked up for my children or I to use the toilet, shower, or even get a drink of water!!!!!!Regards,*** ***

retrieve our cableAs you can see the line was completely clogged with tree roots, the worst case I have ever seen.And I also attached a copy of the signed invoice Ms*** signed after we finished as much as we could at her home, with her card number she gave our technicians attached and she signed it authorizing the charges, knowing the dollar amount before our plumbers left her home, she made no complaint to our plumbersAs you can see by the attached credit card receipt the charges were declined. There is no excuse for this businesses behavior in this whole situation. I called them out to my house for a plumbing issue. I am no expert nor do I know what the issue is. I was given a quote for $185. If the business actually called they did NOT leave a voicemail, nor is it registered on my phone logs that the call was ever received. The plumber then works for hours longer with 2 other men in my home. This does not follow the rules of business. It is wrong and disgraceful on behalf of Thomas plumbing. There is no excuse for their behavior. Thomas plumbing should be liable for the cost of replacing the plumbing they removed from my home without consent, that I had to pay another company to replace (materials and man hours).
