Thomas Tire Company Reviews (%countItem)

What an amazing customer service experience! My wife and I made a recent visit to have Thomas Tire evaluate the cause of a significant vibration in our motorhome, that presented itself while driving. We suspected the problem to be related to some tires and/or wheel balancers that were recently installed by our local mechanic. We chose Thomas Tire, although they were over 60 miles away from us, because they came highly recommended by other service professionals.
When I first called to make an appointment, I spoke to Asst Manager Curtis B who, after explaining the vibration issue, assured me they could find the problem and get it resolved.
Upon our arrival the next day (Friday), Curtis met us in the parking lot and immediately moved us to the open bay where his team got right to work evaluating the tires that were installed.
We weren't there very long before Curtis said he found two problems so far. One was that the left front wheel balancer had been installed incorrectly and the other was that the right front tire had been improperly mounted on the wheel. His team adjusted the wheel balancer and remounted the right front tire only to find that it was out of tolerance due to a manufacturer's defect (***).
Curtis called the store where I had purchased the tire to ensure they would give me a refund and then he dispatched one of his team members to go get a new replacement tire. The *** warehouse was over a half hour drive away. During our wait, Curtis provided a shuttle driver to take my wife to a local restaurant to pick up a to-go order for our lunch!
When the courier returned with the replacement tire, Curtis' team quickly mounted it to only find that it was also out of tolerance! By that time it was late in the afternoon. Curtis knew that we were leaving on Sunday for our honeymoon, in the motorhome, and that they were closed on Saturday. To make sure we had a safe vehicle to drive, he dispatched a courier again to go pick up another tire...knowing that they would be working well past closing time to get us on our way.
While the courier was gone, Curtis' team did a front-end alignment on our coach as we had requested.
When the courier returned, they quickly mounted and checked the new tire and we were soon on our way home with no more annoying and potentially unsafe vibration!
It is unusual to find a company that has such friendly and responsive service. They worked us in quickly, were ready for us when we arrived, took meticulous care to make sure the work was done to exacting standards, stayed late to ensure we would have a safe vehicle for our trip and charged a very fair price for all that they did.
I strongly recommend Thomas Tire for your service needs. Although they are located a long way from our home, we will from now on use Thomas Tire for all of our tire and alignment needs! Thank you Curtis for your diligent and meticulous work on our coach and thanks to the whole management team for having such a great group of professionals!

We have used this location since we moved here 6 years ago. Up until about 2 year ago they did great customer satisfaction. Now it has gone to it is all about the money. I took my car in for an alignment and two front tires, man goes out and look at back tires and says they have been on the car since it was manufactured and are dry rotted. I looked and they were fine. Car only has a little over 56,000 miles on it. Took my truck in for a steering problem. They said the steering box could not be rebuilt, that it would have to be replaced. 3 day and over $3,000 later I got the truck back. I have since found out it could have been rebuilt. They routinely make recommendations that are not necessary. Recommendations when getting and oil change would have been over $300. It is all about how much they can charge you.
Find some place else!

I went in to have a wheel sensor installed, this cost over $600.While waiting for this to be done they informed me that I am going to need back brakes, said it was 2mm thick.I told him that it hasn't been making any noises no scraping noises.I inform him that I will have to get the brakes done at a later time because it was going to cost another $250 .As soon as I start to pull out the brakes sounds like it is metal scraping against metal.I find that this is odd because when I took it in the brakes weren't making a sound.I feel like the mechanic done something to the brakes so that I would have to bring it in alot sooner.I took it to another shop for the brakes to be worked on.
